Alliance for MRI: revision of EMF Directive under threat
The Alliance for MRI faces a new threat to its plans to have MRI exempted from the European Union Directive on electromagnetic fields. Since the adoption of the European Commission proposal for a new EMF Directive in June 2011, it has become clear from discussions in the Council that a number of member states are opposed to the proposed derogation for MRI from the limit values. The Alliance for MRI has prepared a press release about the new development, which you can read here.
