| PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN VIENNA |
If you are travelling from the airport to Vienna by public transport, the easiest way is to take the CAT (City Airport Train), which leaves every 30 minutes and runs non-stop to the city centre. Alternatively, you can take the local train service, which also runs every 30 minutes to various stations in central Vienna. You can plan your journey here using 'Flughafen Wien' as your departure location and either 'Wien Mitte' or 'Wien Praterstern' as your destination.
Once you reach the city centre, you have easy access to the Viennese underground system.
If you would like to plan your journey within Vienna in advance, you can fill in a form with the relevant info (departure from Wien Mitte/Landstrasse, arrival at your hotel's address) at the following link: Vienna Public Transport.
The congress venue can be reached by the underground line U1 (red line, direction Leopoldau). Get off at Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre and take the exit marked Schüttaustrasse.
