European School of Radiology (ESOR)

The European School of Radiology (ESOR) is an established and growing initiative of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) in the field of education. One of its main goals is to assist in harmonising radiological education in Europe. With its wide range of activities ESOR additionally aims to raise standards in the field of scientific radiology, to extend and coordinate teaching resources worldwide and to help young radiologists to achieve the knowledge and skills to fulfil tomorrow’s requirements.
The activities of ESOR include visiting schools, visiting seminars, visiting scholarships, exchange programmes for fellowships, and tutorials.

Goals
- to assist in harmonising radiological education in Europe
- to support the implementation of the European Training Curricula
- to kick off an interest for subspecialisation in radiology
- to support the development of subspecialty fellowships in radiology through structured training
- to serve professional development by continuing radiological education
- to extend and coordinate educational activities in radiology in Europe and beyond
