Insights into Imaging (I3) is owned by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and published by Springer, an internationally renowned publishing house. From January 2012 onwards, I3 is published as an Open Access journal on the SpringerOpen group platform.
Authors of accepted papers will pay an Article Processing Charge that covers all production related costs – and in return, their articles are freely available. For ESR members submitting to Insights into Imaging, there are no costs incurred, as the ESR will cover the Article Processing Charges for all its active members.
