The European Society of Radiology regrets EU’s lowered ambition for the EU health and research programmes
On 21 July 2020, EU leaders reached an agreement that may result in budget cuts to EU health and research programmes. Following the announcement, the European Society of Radiology (ESR) published a statement in which it voices its concerns regarding this decision. Furthermore, it calls on European institutions to prioritise health by aiming for strong and ambitious health and research budgets that are essential to the well-being and prosperity of European citizens.
