ESR and Canon Medical Expand Partnership for ECR 2022

Vienna, Austria, June 2, 2022 – Canon Medical Systems Europe has expanded its partnership with the European Society of Radiology for the 2022 onsite edition in Vienna (ECR 2022, July 13-17, 2022). After a successful Overture edition in March 2022, Canon Medical will be part of the onsite edition with an innovative booth in Hall X3 and a dedicated Canon Medical Experience Area in Foyer B. Together with ESR, Canon Medical will offer all visitors Outcomes driven innovations whilst Building Bridges with each other.

ESR and Siemens Healthineers renew partnership and join forces to support free radiological education

Thursday, 19 May, 2022 - The European Society of Radiology is pleased to announce the renewal of its strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers – a valued Platinum Supporting Member of the society. This renewal of this membership ensures continued collaboration between Siemens and the ESR on several key initiatives. The most recent of these initiatives was a special giveaway of the ESR Premium Education Package which was exclusively supported by Siemens Healthineers. The giveaway awarded 25 lucky applicants a subscription to the 2022 Premium Education Package – a valuable tool for further education in medical imaging.

Important Announcement – Dates of ECR 2023, 2024 & 2025

It is with great delight that we announce the future dates of the European Congress of Radiology for the upcoming three years. As in 2022, ECR will take place in the summer from 2023-25 on the following dates:

ECR 2023: July 5-9

ECR 2024: July 3-7

ECR 2025: July 2-6

European Society of Radiology

Founded in 2005, by merging the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) and the European Association of Radiology (EAR), the European Society of Radiology (ESR) is an apolitical, non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and unifying European radiology.

With 125,314 members across the globe, it has grown to become the largest radiological society in the world and hosts one of the biggest and most innovative scientific meetings in Europe, the European Congress of Radiology, in Vienna each year.

The Society works closely with national radiological societies across Europe and further afield, while establishing relationships with major international organisations from other related fields. It also monitors developments on the EU level which could have an impact on research and practice in radiology, with the best interests of the patient as its overriding goal.

The mission of the European Society of Radiology is to serve the healthcare needs of the general public by supporting scientific research, education and training while constantly striving to improve the quality of radiological practice.
