ESR Support Initiative - the ESR’s social responsibility project

The presidents of the ESR’s national institutional member societies from less affluent regions are welcome to apply for the ESR Support Initiative. Launched and announced in November 2014, the project aims to improve access to radiological training and educational resources for aspiring physicians and scientists in less affluent regions in Europe, with the goal of ensuring better healthcare for future generations in those regions.

Bulgaria was selected by the ESR Board of Directors as the first country (March 2015 - March 2016) to benefit from this initiative, followed by Romania (March 2016 - March 2017), Ukraine (March 2017 - March 2018), Armenia (March 2018 - March 2019), Georgia (March 2019 - March 2020) and, as the sixth country, Belarus (March 2020 - March 2021). If you consider your society a potential candidate, you are welcome to apply by sending an e-mail at boardaffairs@myesr.org

All applications will be evaluated by the ESR Board of Directors, who will select the country to benefit from special offers relating to the Invest in the Youth programme, ECR, ESR/ESOR initiatives, PR activities and reduced ESR membership fees in the period from March 2021 to March 2022.
