September 2018

On October 26, the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the European Society for Hybrid, Molecular & Translation Imaging (ESHIMT) will be hosting a brand new, completely virtual conference. The Conference on Hybrid Imaging Live (CHILI) will be the first meeting of its kind in this field and accessible to all free of charge. One day after the start of the registration period, numbers are looking great for the hybrid imaging conference of the year, as the demand for high quality education seems to be high.

CHILI will be filmed and live streamed in a brand new, state-of-the-art studio which has been recently set up in the European Board of Radiology (EBR) office in Barcelona. It will include a hot mix of lectures, round table discussions and interesting videos on hybrid imaging, brought to you by some of the world’s leading experts in hybrid imaging. These experts will include a range of nuclear medicine physicians, radiologists and physicists.

As Europe’s leading provider of hybrid imaging educational activities, ESR and ESHIMT wish to reach as many people as possible. For this reason, CHILI was organised with accessibility in mind, allowing participants to view the whole event from anywhere and on any device.

Not only will the conference be free of charge, but it will also appeal to everyone with an interest in hybrid imaging, regardless of their prior knowledge. CHILI will offer a range of tailored sessions dedicated to both basic and advanced applications in hybrid imaging, and will also cover its clinical application. Furthermore, the conference has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) and participants will be able to claim 5 CME credits for attending the event.

Hybrid imaging is the fusion of two or more imaging modalities to form a new technique, leading to a new and more powerful modality. It is an increasingly popular field of radiology playing an ever more important role in clinical practice. The conference will provide an opportunity for everyone to learn about this exciting area of medical imaging, whether they are nuclear medicine physicians, general radiologists, last-year residents, or other medical professionals.

The Conference on Hybrid Imaging Live will take place on October 26, 2018 at 10:00-16:00 CEST.

Registration is free and easy. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this global virtual meeting and register now.

CHILI has within one day attracted more than 1,000 registrations from more than 100 countries!
