November 2019
Vienna, Austria – November 5, 2019 - The European Society of Radiology (ESR) and GE Healthcare have announced the renewal of their partnership for the upcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) on March 11-15, 2020 in Vienna, Austria. The partnership includes joint sessions and a 1,050m² booth.
Following a former partnership in 2019 around Artificial Intelligence, this year the ESR/GE Healthcare collaboration expands into many diverse fields in radiology. Under the theme ‘Opening a World of Possibilities’, both partners will demonstrate how their collaboration enables new possibilities in the field of radiology.
“Joining forces between a leading global player as GE Healthcare and the world’s largest radiological society as ESR is a wonderful opportunity. We are delighted to partner with GE Healthcare again this year and to open a 'World of Possibilities' together in radiology,” said Boris Brkljačić, ESR President.
“We are thrilled to renew our partnership with the European Society of Radiology for ECR 2020. Europe is at the forefront of innovation in radiology and we believe that our collaboration will be instrumental in addressing the current challenges of healthcare systems. Clinicians need solutions that help them prioritize cases and improve the precision and efficiency of care to meet the demand for timely, accessible, quality healthcare. We are proud to partner with the ESR to solve these issues,” said Catherine Estrampes, President & CEO, GE Healthcare Europe.
