Faculty and presenter resources

This page outlines the steps to prepare for your presentation at ECR and provides you with the necessary resources. It will continuously be updated as we approach ECR.

You are required to finalise your registration in your MyUserArea. Our Membership and Registration Department ([email protected]) can assist with any questions.

The ECR 2023 programme can be found here and will be gradually updated.

Lecture title and learning objectives
You can amend these anytime with the approval of the programme coordinator. If you have not submitted your learning objectives yet, the guidelines on learning objectives could be helpful.

You may use one of the ECR 2023 PPT templates that can be downloaded here.

Please disclose any conflicts of interest on the second slide of your presentation.

The presentation must be uploaded on our submission site and checked for correctness in the Preview Centre. The unique link (for each presentation) will be sent to you close to the Congress.

No PPT: Even if you do not plan to have a PPT for your presentation, you must follow the upload link and finalise the speaker agreement.

Interactive presentations
If your presentation is interactive, please use these guidelines to add interactive questions to your PPT. The information on the interactivity of your presentation was sent in the official invitation.

If you have received confirmation from us that your presentation will be remote or via a pre-recording

Presenting remotely
You will receive the Zoom link, and we ask you to log in for the technical check 30 minutes before your session. The screen share will enable you to show your PPT and present.

Submitting a recording
You will need to upload your pre-recording following these guidelines to record your presentation by following the presentation upload link, which you will receive via email. For us to have time to check your recording (and make small edits if necessary), your video needs to be in the system at least one week before your session. If it is uploaded after, we cannot guarantee checks and edits.

Guidelines for moderators (including chairpersons)

To prepare for your session, we advise reading the guidelines here.

Your speaker profile in ESR Connect

We encourage you to update your profile with your personal and professional information—more information about how can be found below:

Presenters and moderators have the opportunity to set up their public profile on ESR Connect, including some personal details such as fields of interest, recently published articles and social networks. This will allow other participants to learn a bit about you and see if your professional interests match. With the ESR Connect messaging system, participants will be able to contact presenters directly to collaborate, ask questions exchange scientific work or simply network.

You are invited to edit your profile on ESR Connect. To do so, please visit ESR Connect and log in with your personal ESR MyUserArea credentials. After you have successfully logged in, please refer to the “My Speaker Profile” section in your account and complete the form. A video tutorial on how to do this can be found below.

Of course, you will always be able to change your details and/or withdraw your consent to being contacted or having your profile published. Your name and origin will always be visible for participants.
