Adrian Brady is a consultant radiologist at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Ireland, and a Clinical Professor of Radiology at University College, Cork, with particular interests in interventional radiology and abdominal (GI and GU) imaging.

After medical school and radiology training in Dublin, he moved to Canada for fellowship training in Hamilton, Ontario, before becoming a staff radiologist in Toronto. In 1995 he moved to his present post in Cork.

Professor Brady is also Medical Director of the National Centre for Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) in Ireland and has a particular interest and expertise in the management of pulmonary AVMs. He has served in many posts within the Irish National Radiology Society (which also runs nationwide specialist radiology training) - the Faculty of Radiologists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - having been Dean (President) of the Faculty from 2010 to 2012. He has been involved in ESR activities for many years, chaired the ESR Quality Safety & Standards Committee from 2017 to 2020, and is currently ESR President.

Professor Brady has published and spoken widely in recent years on professional issues, including radiologists' workload, errors and discrepancies in radiology, radiology reporting style and structure, value-based imaging, and artificial intelligence in radiology (with a particular emphasis on ethics).

Carlo Catalano is Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Policlinico Umberto I, Professor of Radiology at Sapienza University of Rome, and Chair of the Radiology Training Programme of Radiology.

Professor Catalano is a co-founder of STITCH (Sapienza information-based Technology Innovation Center for Health) and the European Working Group on MR-guided FUS. His main clinical and research interests are cardiovascular imaging, oncologic imaging, specifically abdominal and genitourinary diseases, and interventional radiology, primarily in image-guided therapy. He was among the first users of MR angiography and, more recently, of MR-guided interventions.

As an educator, Professor Catalano has been Chair of the Radiology Training Program at Sapienza, the largest in Italy, for more than ten years. He is currently ESR 1st Vice President and a board member of several of the most prestigious radiological journals and a member of numerous societies, having been President of the Italian Society of Cardiac Radiology, a member and treasurer of the Executive Committee of the ESCR (European Society for Cardiac Radiology), and currently on the board of the Italian Society of Radiology representing international relationships.

Professor Regina Beets-Tan, MD, PhD, is Chair of the Department of Radiology at The Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam.

Professor Beets-Tan's clinical expertise is in oncologic and abdominal imaging. Her track record is in colorectal cancer imaging research. The research at her department focuses on planar imaging of various cancer types, including research in interventional oncology and artificial intelligence.

Professor Beets-Tan is the current Chair of the ESR Board of Directors and member of the EU Mission Board for Cancer. As president of various societies, Professor Beets-Tan has instigated a collaboration between radiological and other medical organisations because she believes that a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment is the key to better patient outcomes.

Professor Beets-Tan is a member of several editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals and books, has authored or co-authored over 350 publications, and delivered over 550 lectures in radiological and clinical society meetings. She takes part in research councils of the Dutch Organisation of Science and the Dutch Cancer Society. She has received several scientific and teaching awards, including the 2013 ESOR Best Teacher Award and the ISMRM Outstanding Teacher Award in 2008, 2009, and 2014.

Minerva Becker is currently Professor of Radiology and Head of the Imaging Unit of Head and Neck and Maxillofacial Radiology, Diagnostic Department, at the University Hospitals of Geneva.

Professor Becker studied medicine at the University of Berne in Switzerland and specialised in radiology at the Insel Hospital, University of Berne. Her main fields of research include head and neck oncology, base of the skull, salivary glands, hybrid and multiparametric imaging, and texture analysis towards a personalised treatment approach.

Professor Becker has received over 30 international and national scientific awards and prizes and has obtained several research grants supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation. She is the author of over 150 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-editor of Valvassouri's Head and Neck Imaging. She also reviews numerous international scientific journals and participates equally as an external expert in international and national juries for university nominations and promotions.

Professor Becker is an enthusiastic teacher with over 350 invited lectures at international and national meetings. As Chairperson of the Education Committee of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR), she was in charge of the European training curriculum and subspecialty diploma in head and neck radiology. She is the Past-President of the ESHNR and an honorary member of the European Laryngological Society.

Since March 2021, Professor Becker has been the Chairman of the Education Committee of the European Society of Radiology (ESR).

Professor Michael Fuchsjäger is Professor of General Radiology and Chairman of the Department of Radiology at the Medical University Graz, Austria.

Professor Fuchsjäger received his MD degree from the University of Vienna and completed his residency at the Medical University of Vienna, Department of Radiology. He was a research fellow at the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA, and served as Chair of the Clinical Imaging Institute at Al Ain Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Professor Fuchsjäger's clinical work and research are dedicated to diagnostic and interventional breast radiology, with a focus on minimally invasive therapy. He serves on various committees for national and international radiology and senology societies, first and foremost the European Society of Radiology, where he served on the Board of Directors and hosted his European Congress of Radiology as president of the society in 2021.

Professor Fuchsjäger has published more than 80 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, held over 200 scientific lectures and poster presentations and presented more than 600 educational lectures at the most prestigious radiology conferences worldwide over his career.

Marion Smits is a professor and neuroradiologist at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.
Professor Smits combines clinical work with scientific research into applied physiological MR neuroimaging, such as functional MRI, diffusion, and perfusion imaging. She uses these techniques to visualise the brain's function and microarchitecture and to study the pathophysiological and regenerative processes in various neurological diseases. Her primary focus is neuro-oncology.

Professor Smits applies her clinical expertise with scientific research and active participation in key international organisations, such as the ESR, EORTC, and ESMRMB. She uses this unique combination of affiliations to establish productive connections between relevant clinical research questions and implement scientific innovation in clinical practice while disseminating knowledge and expertise through her numerous national and international teaching activities.

Andrea Rockall graduated from King's College London Medical School, London, in 1990 and trained in radiology at St Mary's Hospital and University College Hospital, London. She was awarded the Rohan Williams Medal (Gold Medal) for the FRCR examination. In 2000, she was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging at Queen Mary University London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Barts and The London NHS Trust.

Following appointments at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, Professor Rockall was appointed as Clinical Chair of Radiology, Imperial College London, in April 2018. She is currently ESR 2nd Vice President.

Professor Rockall's special interests are in genitourinary cancer, image-based clinical trials, and machine-learning applications in radiology. She is Chief Investigator of the CRUK MAPPING trial, the NIHR trials MALIBO, MALIMAR (machine learning studies), and the NIHR MROC study (multicenter UK trial in ovarian cancer). She contributes widely to undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist radiology education.

Dr England is Senior Lecturer in Radiography at the School of Allied Professions, Keele University, UK, where he the is research lead for the diagnostic imaging programme and teaches across a range of under and postgraduate courses. From November 2021, he will take up the position of Senior Lecturer in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy at University College Cork.

Dr England's research interests include digital radiography, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology, and dose optimisation.

Dr England was elected Chair of the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS) Educational Wing in 2018, having been a member of the EFRS Educational Wing since 2015, a network of 66 educational institutions. He is Associate Editor (International) for Radiography (Elsevier), the official journal of the EFRS.

Dr England is a former member of the UK Society & College of Radiographers' Research Committee and former Chair of the Radiographers Scientific Subcommittee for ECR.

He has delivered over 100 conference presentations, contributed to over 90 journal articles, and has held significant national and international research grants.

Patrícia Figueiredo is Associate Professor for the Department of Bioengineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and Coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering Lab at the Institute for Systems and Robotics – Lisboa, in Portugal. She has been Chair of the Medical Imaging and Neuroimaging courses and Vice-Coordinator of the MSc Programme in Biomedical Engineering.

Professor Figueiredo's research is focused on imaging human brain function non-invasively. She seeks to obtain more quantitative measures of brain physiology, including perfusion and cerebrovascular reactivity, through advanced MRI techniques. She also combines EEG with functional MRI to help disentangle multiple physiological phenomena and assess the spatiotemporal dynamics of brain networks. Her methodological developments have been applied in the study of the healthy brain as well as disorders such as epilepsy, dementia, migraines, and schizophrenia.

Professor Figueiredo has coordinated several national and international research projects and regularly participates in European networks in brain imaging. Her work has been distinguished with a prize for Women in Science by L'Oréal Portugal, a Best Paper Award by the Portuguese League against Epilepsy, and the António Xavier Prize for the best Portuguese PhD Thesis in NMR, EPR or MRI, as an advisor.

Professor Figueiredo is a member of the Executive Board of the ESMRMB, where she served as a member of the Education Committee and is currently Chair of the 2021 Congress Planning Committee.

Dr Mika Kortesniemi is the chief medical physicist and Adjunct Professor at the HUS Diagnostic Center, University of Helsinki, Finland.

Dr Kortesniemi's professional focus is on quality assurance, dosimetry, optimisation, and radiation protection in x-ray modalities, especially in the evolving CT technology. His research focuses primarily on radiological optimisation, utilising anthropomorphic phantoms, Monte Carlo simulations, and artificial intelligence.

In addition to his position at the HUS Diagnostic Center, Dr Kortesniemi is actively involved in IAEA, ICRP, and EFOMP and has a lot of experience in quality audits in radiology and medical diagnostics.

Ivana Blazic, MD, PhD, is a board-certified radiologist with a doctoral degree in radiology, subspecialising in oncology. She is currently the MRI Section Head in the Clinical Hospital Centre Zemun, Belgrade. As a member of the International Society of Radiology (ISR) Communications Working Group, she also acts as an expert for ISR. She has been providing technical support to WHO in several projects.

Dr Blazic has experience in teaching, clinical work, and research work in different countries and continents, such as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA, Imperial College London, UK, University Hospital of Antwerp, Belgium, Hacettepe University Hospital, Ankara, Turkey, and the Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea.

As an invited speaker, Dr Blazic has given more than 30 lectures at international meetings. She is an active member of nine national and international professional societies. Her clinical research experience in diagnostic imaging has resulted in more than 50 publications published in high-impact journals such as Radiology, European Radiology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Surgery, and the British Journal of Radiology.

Dirk André Clevert is Professor of Radiology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and Chair of the Interdisciplinary Ultrasound Center at the University of Munich, Grosshadern Campus.

Professor Clevert has published extensively on many aspects of ultrasound and pioneered the introduction of contrast-enhanced ultrasound, strain imaging, and image fusion in Germany. He is the editor of two books and has published over 200 scientific PubMed listed articles. He lectures widely, with over 950 presentations at national and international meetings.

Professor Clevert's current research interests include the application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound to the testis and prostate. Additionally, he is researching renal and liver diseases by using the latest ultrasound technic such as stain imaging, CEUS, and image fusion.

Professor Clevert is a member of ESGAR, ESR, DRG, RSNA, and DEGUM and an honorary member of the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Clemens Cyran is Professor of Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine and Vice-Chair of the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany.

After graduating from medical school in Munich, Professor Cyran assumed a position as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Pharmaceutical and Molecular Imaging, University of California, San Francisco, from 2006 to 2007, with a research focus on imaging biomarkers of therapy response in experimental oncology. He completed his residency in radiology in Munich in 2013 and is also board certified in diagnostic nuclear medicine.

Between 2017 and 2019, Professor Cyran served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and was Section Chief of the hybrid imaging department. Following a period in private practice, he returned to academia in July 2020, reassuming his position as Vice-Chair at the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

Professor Cyran's research focuses on developing and validating imaging biomarkers of therapy response in oncology using multimodality hybrid imaging techniques, including MRI, multi-tracer PET, and optical fluorescence imaging, with a strong translational focus. His current projects investigate methods of automated image analysis of digital molecular imaging data using artificial intelligence-based algorithms and artificial intelligence-based analytics for multidisciplinary diagnostic data in integrated diagnostics.

Professor Stéphanie Franchi-Abella received her medical degree from the University of Paris, France, where she completed her residency in radiology. She joined the paediatric radiology department at Bicêtre Hospital, Paris XI University, in 2001 and is currently Head of the Paediatric Interventional Radiology Department.

Professor Franchi-Abella works in close cooperation with hepatologists and surgeons, and her two major clinical activities are abdominal imaging and interventional radiology. Her research activities focus on paediatric liver transplantation, congenital hepatic vascular malformations, and the development of imaging biomarkers for liver disease, such as liver and spleen elastography for fibrosis and portal hypertension, quantitative microDoppler, quantification of fat using ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging.

Dr Elmar Kotter graduated in medicine from the University of Montpellier, France, and in computer science from the Université René Descartes in Paris, France. After receiving his MD and MS in 1993, he completed radiology training at Freiburg University Hospital in 2000.

Since 1994, he has been Director of the Freiburg PACS-Project, and since 1997 he has been Head of Information Technology at the Department of Radiology. Dr Kotter became a senior consultant in 2002 and Vice-Chair and Head of Imaging Informatics at the Department of Radiology, University Hospital Freiburg, in 2003. Since 2008, he has been Associate Professor of Radiology at Freiburg University.

Dr Kotter served as Chair of the "Information Technology" working group of the "Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft" (German Society of Radiology) from 2006 to 2015 and is currently the incoming President of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII). He serves the European Society of Radiology as Chair of the eHealth and Informatics Subcommittee and served the European Congress of Radiology as Chairman of the Imaging Informatics Subcommittee.

Dr Kotter has authored or co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and has given more than 200 invited lectures.

Dr Owen J. O'Connor is Senior Lecturer and Consultant Radiologist at University College Cork, Cork University and Mercy University Hospitals, Ireland.

Dr O'Connor studied medicine as an undergraduate at University College Cork. He completed an abdominal imaging and intervention fellowship in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, where he also served as Chief Fellow before taking up his current position in 2012.

Dr O'Connor's clinical and research experitse are abdominal and interventional radiology, low-dose CT imaging, and medical education, including radiation protection education. He reviews many scientific journals, has delivered many invited lectures, and served as the Faculty of Radiologists in Ireland's representative for the ESR Scientific Committee. He is currently Chairman of the Southern Radiology Society and serves on the radiation safety committees of UCC and the Faculty of Radiologists in Ireland.

Dr O'Connor has published over 85 peer-reviewed indexed paper publications and 15 book chapters. His H index is 26.

Anagha P. Parkar, MD, PhD, is a radiologist at Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital in Bergen, Norway.

She received her medical degree from the Ruhr Universität Bochum, Germany, in 1998. After the obligatory clinical internships in surgery and medicine, as well as general practice in Northern Norway from 1999 to 2001, she commenced her radiology training in Bergen. She completed her radiology training in 2007 and stayed on for a year at the Haukeland University Hospital in the Department of Thoracic Radiology.

Since 2008, Dr Parkar has worked as a general radiologist, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal imaging, chest imaging, and cardiac CT imaging. She is actively involved in teaching medical students from the University of Bergen and researching musculoskeletal and chest imaging.

Dr Parkar has served on the Norwegian Society of Radiology and Norwegian Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology boards. Currently, she is Treasurer for the Norwegian Society of Thoracic imaging and Secretary of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging. In the family of ESR, she is active on several boards and committees.

Dr Silvia Pérez Rodrigo is a breast radiologist and Head of the Breast Imaging Department in MD Anderson Cancer Center, Madrid, Spain.

Dr Pérez received her medical degree from the Autónoma University of Madrid and completed her residency at the Hospital Universitario Alcorcón Madrid, Department of Radiology, completing a special training in breast intervention at the Hospital Ramón y Cajal. Afterwards, she was a visiting fellow at the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA.

Since 2010, Dr Pérez Rodrigo's clinical work and research have been dedicated exclusively to diagnostic and interventional breast radiology, with a particular interest in interventional, MRI and postoperative, oncoplastic, and reconstructive changes, where she is a leading expert.

Dr Pérez Rodrigo serves on various committees for national and international radiology and senology societies, first and foremost the Spanish Breast Imaging Society (SEDIM), where she is a member of the executive board. She is also an active speaker in Europe and Latin America, where she has been invited to lecture multiple times and has moderated at national and international meetings and courses.

Dr Pérez Rodrigo has authored national and international book chapters and authored or co-authored various scientific articles. She has contributed as a reviewer of national and international journals and dedicates part of her time teaching and training residents and radiologists undergoing speciality training.

Professor Mustafa Secil works in the Department of Radiology in Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Medicine, İzmir, Turkey.

Professor Secil received his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa, Faculty of Medicine, and completed his residency at Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Medicine. His clinical expertise and research are focused on abdominal imaging, urogenital radiology, ultrasonography, and Doppler.

Professor Secil took part in the initiation of the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) exams, has been serving as an organiser and examiner since its foundation, and now is the CORE Exam Coordinator of EDiR. After partaking in the ESR Genitourinary Subcommittee, he is now a part of the ESR Ultrasound Subcommittee and Programme Planning Committee of ECR 2023.

Professor Secil has been Editor-in-Chief of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology for over five years, after working as Section Editor of Abdominal Radiology for five years. He has published over 140 articles that received nearly 2000 citations, two books, national and international book chapters and reviews. He has given multiple lectures in national and international meetings as an invited speaker. Professor Secil is President of the Turkish Society of Medical Ultrasonography, Delegate of EFSUMB, and a member of ESUR, ESR, and national radiology societies.

Nikoleta Traykova is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiology, St. George University, Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment (UMHAT), Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Professor Traykova is a member of the Executive Committee of Bulgarian Association of Radiology, the National Commission for State Exams in Radiology, the Executive Committee of the Balkan Society of Radiology (BSR), the ESR Executive Council, the ESOR Steering Committee, and the ESNR. She also chairs the ESR Communication and External Affairs Committee, the Bulgarian Society of Neuroradiology and Head and Neck Radiology, and the BSR Bylaws Committee.

Professor Traykova was President of the National Congress of Radiology in 2015, consultant radiologist and Vice-Director of Educational Activities and International Cooperation at Uni Hospital, Panagyurishte, from 2015 to 2018, Chairperson of the Program Planning Committee of the Balkan Congress of Radiology from 2017 to 2018, host organiser of the Visiting Professorship Programme, Bulgaria, in 2015 and 2019, a member of the ECR Programme Planning Committee from 2019 to 2021, a lecturer at the European School of Radiology (ESOR), and a lecturer at the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program in Spain (2007), Portugal (2011), and Ireland (2012).

Professor Traykova's primary clinical and research interests are head and neck imaging and oncologic imaging. Professor Traykova is a proud member of the PPC 2023.

Marc Dewey is the Heisenberg Professor of the German Research Foundation and Vice-Chair of Radiology at Charité, Universitätsmedizin, Berlin.

Professor Dewey's primary research interest is cardiac imaging. He coordinates the Pan-European randomised DISCHARGE trial, is Editor of Cardiac CT, Section Editor of Cardiac of European Radiology, and a consultant to the Editor of Radiology.

Professor Dewey was Secretary of the Congress of the German Röntgen Society in 2010 and President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Radiological Society from 2011 to 2013. He initiated the Clinical Trials in Radiology sessions at ECR 2015 and the My Thesis in 3 minutes sessions, together with Dr Marc Zins, in 2018. He has taken on several roles within the European Society of Radiology, notably as Chair of the Scientific Program Committee, from 2019 to 2020, a member of the e-learning editorial board, and a member of the ESR Research Chair Committee from 2019 to 2022.

His team has more than 200 publications, with an impact factor of 1,450, and his h-index is 49. Professor Dewey has received the two highest scientific awards of the German Röntgen Society, the Röntgen Award in 2009 and the Curie Ring in 2012.

Sofia Gourtsoyianni is a Greek board-certified radiologist, having trained in LMU, Munich, Germany, and at the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, Greece. She spent a year as a research fellow in body CT applications at BIDMC, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA, and 11 months as a clinical research fellow at the Department of Cancer Imaging, King's College London. She worked as a consultant radiologist at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK, and at Konstantopouleion Hospital in Athens, Greece.

She is currently Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Athens and works in the 1st Department of Radiology in Areteion Hospital, Athens, and is an honorary clinical lecturer (research) at the Cancer Imaging Department at the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, King's College, London.

She is also a member of the ESGAR and ESOI Executive Committee and an Editorial Board Member for the Gastrointestinal Imaging Section in European Journal of Radiology. She has edited two textbooks on GI and abdominal radiology and given more than 90 invited lectures on abdominal and GI radiological topics.

Dr Melvin D'Anastasi is a consultant radiologist with a particular interest in oncologic imaging, working at the Medical Imaging Department of Mater Dei Hospital in Malta and as a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.

Dr D'Anastasi undertook his radiology training at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Hospital in Munich, which he completed in 2015. In 2013, he was awarded an ESOR Scholarship in oncologic imaging at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City. During and after completing his training in Munich, his main clinical and research focus was oncologic imaging. In Munich, he was Deputy Lead of the CT Clinical Study Centre. He was responsible for the criteria-based reporting of oncological clinical trial examinations and training and supervising other team members.

Dr D'Anastasi has a strong interest in oncologic imaging education and served as the ESOI Education Committee Chair from 2017 to 2021, and currently serves as ESOI Secretary. He is the co-founder of the ESOI Webinars and has organised yearly ESOI/EORTC workshops on assessing tumour response to treatment. He served on the Programme Committee of the Oncologic Imaging Course from 2017 to 2020 and the ECR Oncologic Imaging Scientific Subcommittee from 2019 to 2021. He also lectures for the Masters in Oncologic Imaging Programme at the University of Pisa. He was a member of the ECR Programme Team for 2022.

Dr D'Anastasi is a board member of the Malta Association of Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians (MARNMP) and the Medical Association of Malta (MAM). He has authored or co-authored over 60 publications and is a reviewer for several international radiological journals. He is internationally active and is regularly invited to deliver lectures and workshops and organise courses focusing on tumour response assessment.

Thomas H. Helbich, MD, MSc, MBA, is Professor of Molecular Imaging and Vice-Chair of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy of the Medical University of Vienna.

Professor Helbich's main fields of research interest include minimal or non-invasive clinical and experimental investigations on a cellular and sub-cellular level to diagnose cancer earlier and more accurately. His working group developed and optimised several methods based on MRI, different molecular imaging tools, and minimally invasive diagnostic techniques.

Professor Helbich is the author or co-author of more than 305 scientific articles. He is the principal investigator or co-principal investigator of several research grants, including four EU grants (VH-PRISM, HYPMED, MURAB, CANCERSCAN). He has been honoured with several national and international awards. He is the section editor and reviewer of several medical journals and has served as the president of several medical societies (EUSOBI, ÖSG, and vfwf).

Professor Helbich has taken on several roles within the ESR since 1994. He has organised hands-on workshops, given numerous lectures, was Editor of ECR Today, and acted as Chair of the Scientific Subcommittee and a member of the Programme Planning Committee.

Gordana Ivanac, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Radiology at University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Vice-President of the Croatian Society of Radiology, and Vice-Chair of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, University Hospital Dubrava, Zagreb, Croatia.

Professor Ivanac graduated in 1997 from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and passed the board exam in radiology in 2006. She trained abroad at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and the University of Szeged, Hungary.

Professor Ivanac's clinical expertise and academic interest are primarily focused on breast and musculoskeletal imaging. She contributes to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of medical students at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine.

Professor Ivanac is co-author of more than 35 articles in peer-reviewed journals cited in WOS and co-author of several book chapters. She has been an invited speaker at more than 30 domestic and international meetings, including ECR and Euroson congresses. She is actively involved in several scientific projects in breast imaging, vascular imaging, and artificial intelligence. She was a member of PPC for ECR 2020 and has contributed to programme planning for several societies, including ESR, RSNA, ESUR, and EFSUMB.

Professor Katarzyna Katulska, MD, PhD, is Head of the Department of Neuroradiology at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. She is an ESR member and board member of ESER (2018, 2019, and 2020) and Vice-President of the Polish Medical Society of Radiology (2019-2022).

Professor Katulska graduated from the Medical University of Poznan in 1997, received her PhD in medical radiology in 2004, and became a board-certified radiologist in 2005. In 2014 she became an associate professor in radiology and, in 2020, a full professor.

Professor Katulska's primary research interest is emergency radiology and neuroradiology. Her special scientific activities focus on imaging demyelinating diseases, dementia, stroke, and trauma. She has authored or co-authored 113 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and several book chapters in radiology, laryngology, and gastroenterology textbooks.

Professor Katulska was a member of the Program Planning Committee for the European Congress of Radiology as Scientific Subcommittee Chairperson of Emergency Radiology (ECR 2020), the European Society of Emergency Radiology (ESER) annual meeting in 2018, and is a member of the Scientific Program Subcommittee for ECR 2022.

Professor Katulska has been an invited speaker at many domestic and international radiology symposiums and congresses. She has moderated ECR scientific sessions and was an invited speaker at ECR.

Nicola Sverzellati is Associate Professor and Head of the Radiology Unit "Scienze Radiologiche" at the University Hospital of Parma, and the Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the University of Parma.

Professor Sverzellati studied medicine at the University of Bologna and received his medical degree in 2002. He trained in radiology at the University of Parma, where he subsequently obtained a PhD in "Advanced Cardio-Thoracic Imaging" in 2010.

Professor Sverzellati is the radiology lead for imaging of chest disorders at the University Hospital of Parma. His research activity is focused on the imaging of interstitial lung disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He has also participated in several research projects for a lung cancer screening trial (Multicentric Italian Lung Detection trial).

Professor Sverzellati is a member of the Fleischner Society, President of the Chest Section of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM), and was President of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging (ESTI) in 2017.

He is the author and co-author of nearly 250 peer-reviewed articles, numerous abstracts for international congresses, books, and book chapters.

Élida Vázquez is a consultant radiologist and Head of the Department of Pediatric Radiology at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona, Spain, with particular interests in paediatric neuroradiology and foetal imaging.

Dr Vázquez graduated from medical school in Oviedo, Spain, and completed her radiology training in Madrid, Barcelona, and Cincinnati, before becoming a staff paediatric radiologist in Barcelona. After being a staff member at the Hospital Universitari Materno-Infantil Vall d'Hebron for several years, she became Head of the Department of Paediatric Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology. Since July 2014, she has been Head of the Paediatric Radiology Department at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. Her academic qualifications include a PhD from Barcelona Autonomous University in 2018, with a thesis on pituitary lesions in the paediatric and adolescent ages, with clinical-imaging correlation.

Dr Vazquez's main fields include paediatric oncology, primarily CNS neoplasms. She has acted as the reference radiologist for CNS neoplasms in the Spanish Society of Pediatric Haematology and Oncology (SEHOP) for many years. She is also the reference radiologist for neuro-foetal MRI. She works in close collaboration with the obstetrical team of Vall d'Hebron hospital, with several ongoing research projects, such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, intrauterine open neural defect repair, and foetal brain in congenital cardiopathies.

Dr Vázquez is co-author of numerous articles and book chapters and has been a speaker in many national and international congresses and courses. She has been involved in ESR teaching activities for many years and was also Chairman of the Paediatric Radiology Subcommittee for ESR 2019.

Dr Judith Babar is Lead for Thoracic Imaging and a consultant radiologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, having been appointed in 2007.

She received her medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 1998, going on to complete her radiology residency in Birmingham and her thoracic fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, under the direction of Dr Nestor Muller. She is currently an examiner for the Final FRCR 2b exam for the Royal College of Radiologists and an associate lecturer for the University of Cambridge. She is involved in teaching radiology and supervising anatomy and acting as Facilitator on the Professionalism Course for Undergraduates.

Dr Babar became Chair of the Written Evaluation Committee for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) in 2018, having worked previously in the roles of Coordinator and Thoracic Team Leader from 2011 to 2016.

She has been published across a variety of thoracic diseases, including interstitial lung disease, COPD, and primary immunodeficiencies. She is an active teacher at many scientific meetings and courses, and a member of the Bylaw Committee for the European Society of Thoracic Imaging.

Ignasi Barber (Ignacio in Spanish) is a paediatric radiologist and current co-Chairman of the Pediatric Radiology Department in Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children's Hospital.

Dr Barber was born in 1972 in Algeria to Spanish parents. He obtained his medical degree in 1996 from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain, and his PhD degree in 2016 from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. He has been a radiologist since 2002 and a dedicated paediatric radiologist since 2005. His father was a radiologist and his mother a paediatrician, so perhaps it was his destiny to become a paediatric radiologist.

From 2011 to 2013, Dr Barber completed a research fellowship at the Boston Children's Hospital, Boston, MA, USA, focusing on paediatric musculoskeletal radiology and child abuse imaging. He is an active member of the ESR and the ESPR, and, commencing in 2021, he is Vice-President of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Radiology.

Dr Barber has a passion for teaching, is a member of the Educational Committee of the ESPR, an active collaborator of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Radiology (SLARP), and a professor of the ESOR. He is a proud father of three amazing children and a passionate road cyclist.

Sue Barter is a consultant radiologist at Bedford Hospital, UK.

She was a consultant radiologist at Cambridge University Teaching Hospitals from 2003 to 2015 and Director of Breast Imaging and Director of the Cambridge and Huntingdon Breast Screening Service (C&HBSS) from 2007 to 2010. She was elected as Medical Director for Professional Practice at the Royal College of Radiologists from 2012 to 2015 and has represented the College at European meetings on audit and the NICE familial breast cancer guideline group.

Dr Barter has had many roles serving the ESR, having been a member of the Examining Board of the European Diploma in Radiology and responsible for delivering the written content of the European Diploma in Radiology examination. She also chaired the Self-Assessment Committee of the European Society of Radiology, coordinating, writing, and editing modules on self-assessment in radiology.

She is currently Chair of the E-learning Subcommittee, manages the Editorial Board, and is commissioning e-learning courses for the e-learning platform, Education 0n Demand.

Dr Barter has been an invited speaker at many national and international meetings and published widely in many peer-reviewed journals.

Michele Bertolotto is Associate Professor of Radiology and Ultrasound Section Head at the University of Trieste. After training in medical biophysics, he graduated in medicine and completed a residency in radiology. He has been working for the Department of Radiology at the University of Trieste since 1996 as a staff member, assistant professor, and associate professor.

Professor Bertolotto is an active ESR member, having been a member of several ESR committees and the programme planning committees of several ECR congresses. He is currently a member of the ESR Guideline Subcommittee for Urologic Imaging and the CORE Committee for European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) exams.

Professor Bertolotto had several commitments in the Italian and European Societies of ultrasound, especially in the European Society of Urogenital Radiology. He is currently serving as ESUR President-elect. He is a member of the ESUR Scrotal and Penile Imaging Working Group, the ESUR Contrast Media Safety Committee, and the European Diploma in Urogenital Radiology (EDiUR) examination team.

Professor Bertolotto is working as Associate Editor for Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder of Abdominal Radiology. He currently devotes the majority of his time to clinical practice in genitourinary radiology. His research activity focuses on several fields of diagnostic imaging, more specifically on abdominal and genitourinary radiology, dealing with applications of multiparametric imaging and, in particular, multiparametric ultrasound.

Professor Bertolotto has authored 193 full papers, 87 book chapters, and four books. He has also given more than 470 lectures and webinars as an invited speaker in national and international meetings.

Dr Andrew J. Grainger is a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at Cambridge University Hospital, UK. Within the musculoskeletal subspecialty, he has particular interests in sports imaging and imaging arthritis. Prior to taking up his post in Cambridge in 2019, he was a consultant MSK radiologist and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Leeds, UK, for nearly 18 years.

Dr Grainger is involved in imaging amateur and professional athletes from a wide variety of sports. He was on the organising committee to provide imaging for the London 2012 Olympics and has provided imaging for other major sporting events.

Dr Grainger is currently Vice-President of the British Society of Skeletal Radiology and will become President in 2022. He has served on and chaired committees for the International Skeletal Society, the European Society of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. He has served on the executive committee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology, been treasurer of the British Society of Skeletal Radiology, and been Program Chair of the ISS refresher course.

Dr Grainger has over 150 peer-reviewed publications and invited reviews and has contributed 25 book chapters. He is co-editor of seven books and is the musculoskeletal sub-editor for the 7th edition of Grainger & Allison's Diagnostic Radiology. His most recent book is Post-Operative Imaging of Sports Injuries, Springer; 2020. He has a strong interest and reputation for teaching and is in demand as a speaker on national and international platforms.

Professor Vicky Goh is the Chair and Head of the Department of Cancer Imaging, School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, King’s College London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London.

She is currently a member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) Education Committee (Undergraduate Subcommittee Chair), the European School of Radiology (ESOR) Steering Committee, and the European Society of Oncologic Imaging (ESOI) Research Committee. She was previously a member of the ESR Research Committee, European Congress of Radiology (ECR) Programme Planning Committee (2016-2019), chaired the ESOI Education Committee (contributing to the ESR training curriculum), and served as President of ESOI.

She is a Fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and chairs the ESGAR working group for anal cancer imaging guidelines. She chairs the Academic Committee of the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom and the Workforce Group of the National Institute for Health and Care Research Imaging Group.

Since 2019, Professor Goh has been Deputy Editor for Radiology and Associate Editor for Radiology: Imaging Cancer. She was a member of the Editorial Board of European Radiology (2012-18). Prof Goh's clinical practice and research is focussed on cancer imaging, in particular, the tumour microenvironment, quantitative imaging biomarkers and AI. She is Clinical Lead for the London Medical Imaging and AI Centre for Value-Based Healthcare. She has authored and co-authored more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and given more than 150 invited international lectures.

Willemijn M. Klein is a paediatric radiologist in the Radboud University Medical Center and the Amalia Children's Hospital in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She is especially interested in congenital diseases.

After her medical studies in Utrecht, Dr Klein obtained her PhD in imaging vascular diseases and completed her internship in radiology in Nijmegen.

Dr Klein's particular expertise is in congenital lymphatic flow disorders, for which she performs the scans, teaches in Europe, and researches with her multidisciplinary lymphomics group. She is chair of the lymphangiography group of the ERN Vascern and VASCA and is appointed Principal Clinician in Nijmegen for her innovative work with the intranodal MR lymphangiography.

Dr Klein is a member of the Fetal Imaging and Postmortem Imaging taskforces of the European Society of Pediatric Radiology. She teaches, researches, and practices in postmortem and paediatric forensic radiology and has lectured in postmortem imaging courses for the Dutch, European (ESPR), and American (SPR) paediatric radiologists. She also initiated and chaired the guidelines for paediatric and adult postmortem radiology.

Dr Klein is a board member of the Dutch Pediatric Radiology Society, striving for the best paediatric radiology for all children in the Netherlands. She is in the Program Planning Committee and the Paediatric Subcommittee for ECR 2023.

Michail Klontzas is a chief resident in radiology at the Department of Medical Imaging of the University Hospital of Iraklion, Greece, and collaborating researcher of the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology (ICS-FORTH). He received his PhD as a Marie Curie fellow and Burkett Scholar from Imperial College London and holds a medical degree from the University of Crete. His PhD thesis was voted by Imperial students as one of the three best departmental PhD theses of 2018. After obtaining his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Emory University School of Medicine and Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). His current research interests lie in the field of musculoskeletal radiology, radiomics and artificial intelligence. Dr Klontzas is a member of the trainee editorial board of RadioGraphics and elected board member of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII). He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal papers (h-index: 15, i-10: 19 - Google Scholar), six book chapters for international publishers and his work has been presented in several conferences in Europe and the USA. Dr Klontzas has given invited talks at the Annual Meeting of ESSR and the ECR and serves as a reviewer for several high impact journals in the fields of artificial intelligence, radiology and biomedical engineering. He has received two "Invest in the Youth" fellowships of the ESR and has been selected as one of the two finalists for the "Radiology Rising Star" award of AuntMinnie (2022).

Dr Christian Loewe is Chairman of the Division of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Department of Bioimaging and Image-Guided Therapy, at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. He also currently chairs the Guidelines Committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR). Additionally, Christian Loewe is President-Elect of the Austrian Rontgen Society and was Chairman of the Program Planning Committee of the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in 2019 and 2021 and Program Director of the ESR Summer Edition in 2021.

Dr Loewe is especially interested and active in postgraduate education in his home country and throughout Europe. He chaired the European Board of Cardiovascular Radiology (EBCR) for six years and was responsible for the European Diploma in Cardiovascular Radiology. He serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the European School of Radiology (ESOR), and he is Chairman of the Austrian Board Examination in Radiology.

Dr Loewe was a member of the Editorial Board of European Radiology from 2002 to 2011, Associate Editor of Radiology from 2011 to 2017, and is currently Consultant to the Editor. Since 2020, he has also been Deputy Editor of Insights Into Imaging (I3).

The main focus of Dr Loewe's clinical and scientific work includes non-invasive cardiovascular imaging (CT and MRI of the heart, CT angiography, and MR angiography) and diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases. He has given more than 350 invited lectures, authored and co-authored more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and authored five book chapters.

Ioana Gabriela Lupescu is Professor of Radiology for the Department of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Interventional Radiology, Fundeni I- Department 8, Faculty of Medicine, UMPh "Carol Davila", Bucharest, and Head of the Department of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Interventional Radiology at the Fundeni Clinical Institute.

Graduating in medicine in 1989 at the UMPh "Carol Davila", Bucharest, Professor Lupescu completed her residency in radiology in 1994. She has a cotutelle PhD in Medicine from the UMPh "Carol Davila" and the University Claude Bernard Lyon I. She has completed all the hierarchical steps at the UMPh "Carol Davila" to become a professor in 2013.

Professor Lupescu's main areas of imaging and research include liver, biliary tree, pancreatic and gastrointestinal pathology, reno-urinary system and prostate, transplantation imaging, hemato-oncological diseases, and neuroimaging. She is involved in multidisciplinary research focused on liver hepatocellular and pancreatic carcinoma, liver and kidney transplantation, reno-urinary tract and prostate tumours, and lymphomas.

Professor Lupescu has authored more than 110 articles in medical journals and over 32 book chapters and participated in more than 620 communications, lectures, and posters.

Professor Lupescu is a pioneer in MRI training through her implementation of the MRI school in Romania. For her work, she has been awarded distinctions at radiology SRIM congresses and abroad. She was the SRIM president from 2015 to 2017 and president of the Oncological Imaging Group. She is also a founding member of the Romanian Society of MRI and the Romanian ISMRM.

Dr Doug Mulholland is a consultant interventional radiologist at the Department of Radiology in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. His areas of interest are in venous intervention, peripheral vascular disease, and renal tumour ablation. He also has a special interest in musculoskeletal radiology, particularly musculoskeletal ultrasound. He completed fellowship training in Guy's and St. Thomas's Trust in London between 2019 and 2021.

Dr Mulholland is the current educational supervisor in Beaumont Hospital and an active teacher in general radiology. He has been actively preparing fellowship exam candidates in Ireland and the UK for the past three years. He completed a medical education fellowship through King's College in London. As a result, he is extremely keen on improving methods for delivering feedback to trainees and enhancing the postgraduate radiology training experience.

Dr Mulholland has a keen interest in quality improvement and increasing efficiencies within departments. He is actively involved in several QI projects related to increasing departmental output and improving patient safety.

Dr Mulholland has authored or co-authored over 20 publications. He is also currently a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals, including European Radiology.

Professor Marie-Pierre Revel is Head of the Radiology Department at Cochin Hospital, University of Paris, Paris, France.

Professor Revel's area of expertise is in chest imaging, especially in the fields of thoracic oncology and thromboembolic disease, and she is currently working on thoracic imaging applications of artificial intelligence.

Professor Revel is Past President of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging (ESTI) and organised the 2019 joint meeting of ESTI and the Fleischner society in Paris in May 2019. She is also responsible for the ESTI Lung Cancer Screening certification project, supported by the European Society of Radiology (ESR).

Professor Revel coordinated the STOIC project of Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris, which made it possible to constitute an annotated database of more than 11,000 chest scanners in patients suspected of COVID-19, in order to develop diagnostic and prognostic algorithms in this disease using artificial intelligence.

Dr. Viktoriia Pozdniakova completed her medical degree in 2009 at Saint-Petersburg Pavlov Medical University in Russia before moving to Medical University of Graz to pursue her academic career in radiology. While in Graz, she made guest research visits to the Excellence Center in Vienna and ETH Zurich focusing on molecular imaging. In 2012, she moved to Oslo to work on a basic research project related to hypoxia imaging with DCE-MRI and DWI at Norwegian Radium Hospital. In 2014, Viktoriia switched to clinical practice and after completing her internship, started her training in radiology at Stavanger University Hospital in 2015. She continued her research career in neuroimaging, focusing on volumetric changes in Parkinson's dementia. Dr. Pozdniakova presented her work at ECR and Norwegian Radiology Congress where she was awarded with the first prize for the Best Scientific Presentation in 2018. She did an ESOR scholarship in neuroimaging in La Fe Hospital in Valencia, Spain, and has been an invited speaker at neuroimaging forums organised by industry. From 2018, she has been a board member of Norwegian Radiology Society holding a position of Vice President and a President of Young Radiologists of Norway for the last two years. Dr. Pozdniakova serves as a national delegate from Norway at RTF. After completing her residency in 2021, Viktoria is currently working as a radiology consultant in Norway focusing on neuro- and thoracic imaging. In her spare time, Viktoria participates in several volunteer programmes honoured with breakfast with H.R.H. Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon in 2018.

Andrea B. Rosskopf is a radiologist at the Medical Radiology Institute (MRI) in Zurich, Switzerland, and an active research associate of the famous Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. She is also a lecturer (Privatdozent, PD) at the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.

Dr Rosskopf completed her residency in Berne, Switzerland. After a clinical fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK, she continued her career as a clinical fellow, consultant, and senior consultant at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich (for more than eight years), specialising in musculoskeletal radiology.

Dr Rosskopf is an active member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS), the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR), including the Subcommittees "Sports" and "Arthritis", the German Musculoskeletal Societies (DGMSR and AG Muskuloskelettale Radiologie), and a founding member of the Swiss Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSSR).

Dr Rosskopf has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals and books and is the reviewer of Skeletal Radiology, European Radiology, and the RSNA Case Collection. She is a well-known teacher for MSK courses and conferences across Europe and North America and an Expert Examiner for MSK Radiology at the Swiss Board Examination.

Rodrigo Salgado is a radiologist at Antwerp University Hospital and Holy Heart Hospital, Lier. His main field of interest is non-invasive CT/MR imaging of cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on valvular and coronary artery imaging. Currently, he is Secretary of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology Execute Committee, Chair of the cardiovascular section of the Belgian Society of Radiology, where he's also board member, and Cardiovascular Section Editor for ESR Eurorad.

Dr Salgado serves on the scientific editorial board of Insights into Imaging and the International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging. Previously, he was a member and eventually Chair of the Cardiac Scientific Subcommittee for ECR 2018, 2019, and 2020, Chair of the New Media & Communications Committee of ESCR, and ESCR congress president in 2019. He's a frequent speaker at international meetings and has written several papers and book chapters.

Annemiek Snoeckx, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Antwerp and Chair of the Radiology Department of the Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium.

Professor Snoeckx's clinical and research interests are in the field of chest imaging, in particular thoracic oncology (in general), lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer screening and implementation of artificial intelligence.

She is an active member of numerous committees within the European Society of Thoracic Imaging, European Society of Radiology, European Respiratory Society and Belgian Society of Radiology. She served as a member of the Chest Subcommittee of the European Congress of Radiology in 2017, 2018 and, 2019. She was organiser and presenter of the Junior Image Interpretation Quiz at ECR 2017.

Professor Snoeckx is passionate about education on thoracic oncology topics. She authored or co-authored more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at many national and international meetings and courses.

Harriet Thoeny is an internationally-recognised urogenital and head and neck radiologist, currently Chairperson of Radiology at the cantonal hospitals of Fribourg, and Full Professor at the University of Fribourg, the only bilingual university of Switzerland. She is also Adjunct Professor of Urology at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Due to her clinical expertise, she is a consultant at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Bern and a consultant at the Department of Radiology at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), Switzerland.

Professor Thoeny is originally from Liechtenstein, a tiny principality between Switzerland and Austria. She completed her medical studies in Bern and her residency in radiology in various hospitals in Switzerland. During her clinical fellowship in head and neck and urogenital radiology at the University Hospitals of Leuven (Gasthuisberg) in Belgium, she discovered her love for research thanks to excellent interdisciplinary collaborations, including her clinicians and Frederik de Keyzer, a young, intelligent, and inspiring computer scientist. Together they were instrumental in developing the application of diffusion-weighed MRI outside the brain, which is now part of most MRI exams in daily clinical practice.

Professor Thoeny has always loved foreign languages and cultures (she speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian, and some Spanish and Arabic). Her deep interest in human interactions and research interest have come together naturally, as her international collaborations show.

Professor Thoeny has held several positions at RSNA, including Associate Editor of Radiology, Chairperson of the Regional Committee for Europe, a member of the International Advisory Committee, a member of the Margulis Award Committee, and a member of the Scientific Subcommittee of Genitourinary radiology.

Professor Thoeny has contributed to the international guidelines development, including the ESUR/ACR PI-RADS steering committee. She is also a member of various scientific committees, including the European Multidisciplinary Urological Cancer (EMUC) meeting, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), the International Cancer Imaging Society (I.C.I.S), and the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR).

Professor Thoeny has held several leadership positions, including President of ESUR, where she introduced the European Diploma in Urogenital Radiology, and Executive Board Member and Honorary Secretary of the I.C.I.S. She has been Chairperson of the Scientific Subcommittees of Head and Neck Radiology and is currently Chairperson of Urogenital Radiology at ECR.

Professor Thoeny has several peer-reviewed grants totalling several million Euros, mainly in functional MR imaging of the prostate, kidneys, lymph nodes, and head and neck imaging. She has published multiple original articles in highly ranked journals, including four invited state of the art articles for Radiology. Her work has been read more than sixteen thousand times and has been cited more than ten and a half thousand times, making her a key opinion leader in Radiology.

Professor Thoeny is committed to her clinical work, mentoring, and teaching and has given many invited lectures at national and international meetings in various languages, allowing her to share her knowledge and culture at the same time.

In recognition of her achievements, Professor Thoeny was appointed an honorary member of the Spanish Society of Abdominal Radiology (SEDIA), an honorary fellow of the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology (ASAR), an honorary member of the French Society of Radiology (SFR), and an honorary member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Dr Alexandra Athanasiou is a breast radiologist, Chief of the Breast Imaging Department and Scientific Director of the Breast Cancer Center at the MITERA Hospital, Athens, Greece.

Dr Athanasiou received her medical doctor degree from the University of Athens and completed her residency in radiology at the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete. She obtained her sub-specialisation in Breast and Oncologic Imaging in Paris, France, where she was board-certified in 2007. She has extensive experience in these domains, having worked for 14 years in the Oncologic Hospitals Institut Gustave Roussy and Institut Curie, Paris, France. Parallel to her clinical work, she has been an active researcher, acting as the principal investigator in two multicenter clinical trials and co-investigator in six multicenter clinical trials. Her research is focused on novel imaging modalities with an emphasis on potential imaging biomarkers and artificial intelligence in breast imaging.

Dr Athanasiou holds a master degree in bioengineering, with a particular focus on the physics of ultrasound, from the ESPCI (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et De Chimie, Institut Langevin, Paris France), and an Executive Certificate of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). She is a member of the executive board and the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI) and its program planning committee.

Dr Athanasiou is the Breast Imaging Section Editor of EURORAD, a regular member of the Faculty of ESOR, and has contributed as a member in the Program Planning Committee of the ECR from 2017 to 2019.

Dr Athanasiou is the author of four book chapters, 42 indexed articles, and a regular speaker in national and international courses and conferences.

Dr Irene Bargellini is a vascular and interventional radiologist at the University Hospital of Pisa, Italy.

She received her medical degree from the University of Pisa in 1999, completed her radiology residency in Pisa in 2003, and received a master degree in Interventional Radiology in 2017.

Her clinical and scientific work is primarily focused on oncologic imaging and interventional oncology, with particular reference to liver imaging and liver tumours' loco-regional and systemic therapies.

Dr Bargellini is an active member of the Italian Society of Radiology (SIRM), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR), and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society in Europe (CIRSE). She has served as a member of the Standard of Practice Committee of CIRSE in 2015, was a member of the Vascular Scientific Subcommittee for ECR 2017, 2018, and 2019, and is a member of the Interventional Radiology Subcommittee of ECR 2022.

She serves as a reviewer of several national and international journals, has been Vice-Director of Giornale Italiano di Radiologia Medica, and is a member of the Editorial Board of European Radiology and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr Bargellini has authored and co-authored more than 80 articles in peer-review journals, co-authored several book chapters, and has given numerous invited lectures in national and international meetings.

Stevo Duvnjak, MD, PhD, EBIR, is an interventional radiologist with extensive experience in EVAR, TEVAR, and various embolisation procedures.

Dr Duvnjak completed his medical education in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1999 and undertook residency training in diagnostic radiology from 2002 to 2006 in Belgrade, Serbia. He has primarily focused on interventional vascular radiology and endovascular surgery since 2006. From 2009 until 2019, he worked as a consultant interventional radiologist at Odense University Hospital, Denmark. Currently, he is completing a vascular surgery residency and working at the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

Dr Duvnjak's research interests include endovascular aneurysm treatment and various embolisation procedures, particularly uterine fibroid embolisation, pulmonary arteriovenous embolisation, and visceral artery and trauma embolisation.

Dr Duvnjak has authored more than 40 articles and reviews in international journals, published two books concerning endovascular interventions, and authored chapters in additional endovascular books. At Odense University Hospital, Dr Duvnjak introduced percutaneous EVAR, ruptured AAA treatment with EVAR, and branched and fenestrated stent grafts.

Heidi Beate Eggesbø is Head of the Department for Research, Division of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Oslo University Hospital, and Adjunct Professor for the University of Oslo.

Dr Eggesbø obtained her medical degree from the University in Oslo, Norway, in 1988. She defended her doctoral thesis with the title "CT and MR of the paranasal sinuses in patients with cystic fibrosis" in 2003.

Dr Eggesbø was a board member and treasurer of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR) and President of the ESHNR congress in Oslo in 2007.

Dr Eggesbø's current research projects include paranasal sinus imaging in ANCA vasculitis, age estimation in sub-adults based on dental MRI and artificial intelligence, and ventricular and subarachnoid CSF volume measurements in infants based on MRI and artificial intelligence.

Malene Fischer is Professor in Hybrid Imaging in Oncology at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds an adjunct position with the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences at King's College London.

Professor Fischer is a medical doctor and nuclear medicine specialist and has published more than 70 papers on hybrid imaging. The common thread of her research is the exploration and implementation of hybrid imaging, PET/CT, and PET/MRI in the diagnoses and treatment of patients with cancer, literally from lab to bedside, including cost-effectiveness analysis. She obtained her PhD from the University of Copenhagen, exploring the detection limit of the PET/CT technology and pioneer clinical studies on PET/CT in staging and therapy evaluation of patients with small-cell lung cancer. Her doctorate (DMSci, an old-fashioned Danish academic degree) was based on the world's first randomised clinical trial on PET/CT in the staging of patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

Professor Fischer is the principal investigator of a Danish multicentre randomised trial exploring the value of PET/CT and liquid biopsies for the surveillance of patients with lung cancer.

A common denominator of her research is multidisciplinary collaboration and ongoing projects, including PET/MRI for radiotherapy planning and AI-based imaging analysis. Together with colleagues at KCL and Copenhagen, Professor Fischer's is part of HYBRID, a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network and European collaboration under Horizon 2020 on hybrid imaging.

Professor Laure Fournier is an academic radiologist working at the Hopital européen Georges Pompidou in Paris, France. Her time is divided between clinical work on urogenital cancers and imaging research in the In vivo Imaging Lab (INSERM U970). She works on functional imaging, radiomics, and big data to extract quantitative parameters from images reflecting tumour physiology and biology. Her works focuses more specifically on defining tumour response to therapy, particularly for targeted therapies requiring new response criteria. She is also very involved in machine and deep-learning imaging applications, developing her own research, collaborating with industrial partners, and participating in national and European initiatives.

Professor Fournier contributes to undergraduate and graduate teaching in radiology. She is responsible for "Artificial Intelligence" and "Introduction to Research" courses for French radiology residents. She co-organises the EIBALL hands-on workshops on "Introduction to imaging biomarker research" for young radiologists and ESOI-EORTC workshops on "Tumour response evaluation".

Professor Fournier is an active member of the EIBALL committee and ESOI and ESUR societies.

Maja Hrabak Paar, MD, PhD, EBCR, is Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and a radiologist at the University Hospital Center Zagreb, Croatia.

Professor Hrabak Paar finished her residency in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2008. She introduced cardiac imaging in Croatia after completing the European School of Radiology (ESOR) fellowship in cardiac radiology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, in 2007. From 2014 to 2015, she completed a postdoctoral fellow in cardiac imaging at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. Her primary clinical and scientific interests are in cardiac and body imaging.

Professor Hrabak Paar was a member of the Cardiac Subcommittee of the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She is President of the Cardiac Section of the Croatian Society of Radiology, a member of the ESCR Education and EBCR Committee, and a member of the "Cardiac Imaging" section of the ESR e-learning subcommittee. In 2020 she was Congress President of the online edition ESCR Annual Meeting.

Professor Hrabak Paar has authored and co-authored 38 scientific papers, one textbook, three book chapters, and more than 90 conference presentations and posters. She has also given approximately 40 lectures as an invited speaker in many national and international meetings.

Assistant Professor Nejc Mekis, PhD, MSc. rad. tech., MSc. ecotechnology, BSc (Hons) radiography, is currently employed at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he is Head of Research and Head of the Radiography Lab in the Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Department. His field of lectures includes first, second, and third cycle degree cover of emergency radiography, general radiography, dental radiography, radiologic technology, dose optimisation, radiation protection, DEXA, and research in radiography.

Professor Mekis is the author of more than 30 scientific articles and more than 40 conference papers. He is also a co-author of two books related to radiologic technology and radiographic positioning. His main research fields are general radiography, optimisation in radiography, image quality, digital radiography, dosimetry, and dose reference levels.

Professor Mekis is the first, and currently only, Assistant Professor of Radiography in Slovenia. He is also the current President of the Slovenian Society of Radiographers and the Editor-in-chief of the Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Journal. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Health Sciences and the Journal Radioloske Tehnologije, as well as a member of the International Advisory Board at the Radiography Journal.

Mehmet Ruhi Onur is an emergency radiologist at the Radiology Department of Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.

He received his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed his radiology residency in the Radiology Department of Akdeniz University, Turkey. Dr Onur started his academic career at Fırat University, Turkey, in 2009 and completed a one year (2011-2012) research associate experience in body cross-sectional imaging at the University of Rochester (NY, USA) Department of Imaging Sciences. He has been a member of the academic faculty in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Radiology since 2014.

Dr Onur has been a member of the ECR Emergency Radiology Scientific Subcommittee since 2021 and was assigned as chairperson of this subcommittee for ECR 2023. He also served as a member of the ESR Professional Issues and Economics in Radiology Subcommittee in 2019.

Dr Onur is Chairperson of the Emergency Radiology Subcommittee of the Turkish Society of Radiology. He acts as a reviewer for several international peer-reviewed journals, such as European Radiology, Abdominal Radiology, the European Journal of Radiology, and the Journal of Clinical Ultrasound. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.

Dr Onur's research is focused on emergency radiology and radiation safety. He has authored or co-authored more than 80 scientific papers and 15 book chapters. He has also given 70 lectures as an invited speaker in many national and international meetings.

Kevin O'Regan is a consultant radiologist at Cork University Hospital, Cork, Ireland, with particular interests in oncology imaging, nuclear medicine, and thoracic and GU imaging.

Dr O'Regan graduated in medicine from University College Cork, Ireland, and undertook radiology training in Cork followed by fellowship training in Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston, in oncology imaging and PET/CT.

Dr O'Regan is the clinical lead for PET/CT in Cork University Hospital and has an interest in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, serving on the Faculty of Radiologists Education Committee from 2014 to 2016.

Dr O'Regan's research interests include low-dose CT imaging, molecular imaging, and melanoma and tumour response criteria.

Professor Milagros Otero García is Head of the Department of Abdominal and Genitourinary at University Hospital, Vigo, Spain. She is also Professor of the Bioengineering degree at the University of Vigo and Co-Director of the degree of the Faculty of Medicine of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Professor Otero García obtained her bachelor's degree in medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a PhD from the University of Cádiz, Spain. She also holds a master's degree in Health Care Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela. She specialised in Radiodiagnosis at the University Hospital of Vigo, where she currently works.

Professor Otero García is an active member of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM), has held the position of Vice-President, President, and is currently Executive President for the Spanish Society for Diagnostic Imaging of the Abdomen (SEDIA). She is also a long-standing member of the ESR, RSNA, and ESUR. At the RSNA, she has served on the womens' imaging exhibit review panel many times. At ESUR, she is a member of the Female Pelvis Committee and the current ESUR President. 

Professor Otero García has authored three book chapters and has authored or co-authored publications in national and international scientific-medical journals. She has participated actively in national and international congresses, with more than 100 presentations, sessions, posters, and oral communications. She has also collaborated as a moderator and member of the scientific committee of different national and international congresses (ESR, RSNA, SEDIA, and SERAM).

Daniel Pinto dos Santos is a consultant radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University Hospital of Cologne with a particular interest in imaging informatics and abdominal imaging.

He graduated in medicine at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, where he also completed his radiology training at the University Medical Center. After staying at Hospital Universitari La Fe in Valencia, Spain, as a visiting research fellow, he moved to his current position at the University Hospital of Cologne.

Dr Pinto dos Santos is the current chair of the Information Technology committee of the German Radiological Society and Vice-President of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics. He also serves as Junior Deputy Editor for European Radiology and Section Editor (Radiomics) for the European Journal of Radiology.

Dr Pinto dos Santos' primary area of interest with regards to imaging informatics is the advancement of data-driven workflows in radiology, mainly through structured reporting and imaging biomarkers. He has authored over 70 publications in peer-reviewed international journals as well as several book chapters.

Helmut Prosch, MD, is Associate Professor of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he serves as Deputy Head of the Division of General and Pediatric Radiology and Section Chief of Thoracic Imaging.

Professor Prosch obtained his medical degree in 2000 from the University of Vienna and trained in radiology at the Otto Wagner Hospital in Vienna, Austria. Prior to this, he worked as a research fellow at the Children's Cancer Research Institute in Vienna.

Professor Prosch was a member of the Chest Subcommittee of the European Congress of Radiology in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and is a member of the Oncologic Imaging Scientific Subcommittee for ECR 2022. He has been Secretary of the Austrian Society of Radiology (ÖRG) since 2014 and the honorary secretary of the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) since 2021.

Professor Prosch's research focuses on the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer and deep learning for the diagnosis of diffuse parenchymal lung diseases. He has published more than 180 articles, reviews, or book chapters and is Deputy Editor of European Radiology.

Osvaldo Rampado is a senior medical physicist at the Department of Medical Physics of the University Hospital "Città della Salute e della Scienza" in Torino, Italy. His professional focus is on radiation protection, dosimetry, and image quality optimisation in medical imaging for all x-ray imaging modalities. He teaches medical radiation physics and image processing at the University of Torino.

Dr Rampado's main research interests are patient dose assessment and management, quantification of radiological image quality parameters, and radiomic analysis. He is also experienced in the application of artificial intelligence techniques to the analysis of big data deriving from archives of patient doses in diagnostic imaging. He holds the role of Radiation Protection Expert (RPE) and is involved in procurement procedures and tenders for radiological equipment at local and national levels.

Dr Rampado is an active member in several task groups of the Italian Association of Medical Physics (AIFM) and the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP). He has authored and co-authored over 40 scientific papers and two books and has presented at various international conferences and courses. He is a reviewer for several international radiological journals and Associate Editor of the European Journal of Medical Physics.

Professor Zoran Rumboldt, MD, PhD, is Professor of Radiology at the University of Rijeka, Croatia, Adjunct Professor of Radiology at MUSC, Charleston, SC, USA, and a consultant neuroradiologist at the Telemedicine Clinic.

Professor Rumboldt graduated from the University of Zagreb Medical School in Croatia, where he also completed his radiology residency, followed by a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA. He worked as an attending neuroradiologist at the Sisters of Mercy University Hospital in Zagreb, Croatia, and then at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, USA, where he held the positions of Neuroradiology Section Chief and Fellowship Program Director.

Professor Rumboldt has over 20 years of experience in all areas of neuroradiology, including head and neck, spine, and paediatrics. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, over 30 review articles and book chapters, and edited the books "Brain Imaging with MRI and CT" and "Clinical Imaging of Spine Trauma". He has been an invited speaker at major neuroradiology and radiology meetings (ASNR, ESNR, RSNA, ECR, and ARRS) from 2005, visiting professor on four continents, and lecturer at various courses including the European Course in Neuroradiology and Telemedicine Clinic Academy. Professor Rumboldt has received awards for teaching since 2004. Most recently, he was a 2020 AuntMinnie.com's semi-finalist in the Most Effective Radiology Educator category.

Erich Sorantin, MD, was born in 1957 and, after finishing high school, studied medicine at the University of Vienna, graduating in 1982. Afterwards, he worked in several hospitals, fulfilled training as a general practitioner and became a fully qualified paediatrician and radiologist. In 1988, he joined the Department of Radiology, Medical University Graz, where he became a faculty member in 1994 and earned his professorship in 2002. Currently, Dr Sorantin is the acting Head of the Division of Paediatric Radiology. Moreover, he coordinates a multi-institutional, multidisciplinary academic network in central Europe, which focuses on biomedical imaging and technology transfer of advanced paediatric care and radiation protection.

Dr Sorantin has served as a consultant for computer graphics for the medical vendor Siemens, concentrating on virtual endoscopic techniques for approximately eight years. During this cooperation, two products were brought to the market: the Virtuoso3D and the Leonardo Workstation. Dr Sorantin was decorated with several awards and, in 2018, received a PhD honoris causa in Informatics from the Faculty of Science, University of Szeged, Hungary.

Dr Sorantin has been married since 1984 and has three sons and two grandchildren.

Dr Marie Staunton is a radiologist at Mercy University, Cork. She received her medical doctorate from University College Galway and completed her surgical residency at University Hospital Galway and her radiology residency at St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. She went on to complete fellowships in abdominal imaging at McMaster University Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, and University Hospital Network, Toronto, Ontario. She was a staff radiologist at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and the Department of Medical Imaging, Abdominal Division, University Health Network, Toronto, Ontario.

Dr Staunton is an educational coordinator for the Faculty of Radiologists, RCSI, Radiology Training Programme and the lead tutor for the Faculty of Radiologists, RCSI, Evidence-Based Radiology and Problem-based Learning and Audit modules. She is also an undergraduate tutor for medical students at University College, Cork.

Dr Stauton has been a member of subcommittees of RSNA, ECR, and ESGAR. She has acted as a reviewer for Radiology and the American Journal of Radiology, and her research interest is evidence-based radiology and problem-based learning.

Dr Damian Tolan is a consultant radiologist at St James' University Hospital and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds. He has a particular interest in gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology and, in particular, imaging related to colorectal and small bowel disease.

Dr Tolan graduated from the University of Leeds in 1997 and, after a period of training in general medicine and gastroenterology, entered into training in radiology in Yorkshire, followed by a fellowship at University College London Hospital, before returning to Leeds in 2007. His current research interests focus on imaging in collaborative multicentre research studies in colorectal cancer, optimising surgical techniques, and Crohn's disease.

Dr Tolan is an active fellow of ESGAR and has recently joined the Executive Committee after serving on the Education Committee and contributing to the ESR curriculum, and working on European guidelines for imaging inflammatory bowel disease and fistula in ano. He is also a member of BSGAR and will be the society president from 2022 to 2024.

Alberto Vieira is Chairman of the Radiology Department at CUF Porto Hospital and invited Assistant of Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine of Porto University.

Dr Vieira graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 1985 and is a board-certified radiologist with national and international experience.

Dr Vieira is a regularly invited speaker at radiologic and other speciality scientific meetings and has authored or co-authored a significant number of scientific papers and book chapters. He is an active member of many national and international societies, including the ESR. He has served as President of the Portuguese Radiological Society (SPRMN) and President of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR).
