Abstract submission will be open from July 1 to October 10, 2019.
Poster upload of accepted submissions is open until January 9, 2020.
Note that meeting this deadline is mandatory for all Voice of EPOS presenters!
The authors of the best-rated abstracts who selected the respective affirmation during abstract submission are invited to present their work in person at The Voice of EPOS™. The invitation must be confirmed by e-mail within the given timeframe so the presentation can be scheduled definitely in the respective session.
Note that confirmations after the given deadline cannot be accepted, and your presentation will have to be cancelled if you do not respond in time.
To take part in The Voice of EPOS™, the submitter has to select the respective affirmation during poster abstract submission. Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be sent to all submitters of poster abstracts by December 2019. Invitations to participate in The Voice of EPOS™ will be sent to the presenters of the selected poster abstracts and must be confirmed.
All presenting authors at The Voice of EPOS™ will be able to register with the Oral Presenter Member fees until the middle fee deadline, provided that their membership was completed by August 31, 2019.
The reduced fees will be automatically saved in your MyUserArea account, where you can process your registration under MyRegistration.
For more information on the requirements please visit the registration page.
Presentations will take place on 5 different stages from Wednesday to Sunday in and around the EPOS Lounge on the first level. Stage 5 will be dedicated exclusively to radiographers/radiological technologists.
You can find the posters and sessions scheduled in the Voice of EPOS Final Programme and the Interactive Programme Planner (IPP) on ECR Online by mid-February 2020. To search for Voice of EPOS sessions please filter by VoE in the category "Session Type" or search for VoE.
From the end of February onwards you will be able to access the poster content via the IPP and in EPOS Online.
Sessions include 6-8 presentations that are grouped by topic or language/country. Speaking time of the presentations is 4-5 minutes, followed by questions from the audience.
All sessions are moderated by an expert in the field, and moderators of language sessions speak the respective language.
Language/Country sessions are presented and moderated in the respective language (English is also possible if desired).
Topic sessions are presented and moderated only in English.
All posters for topic and language sessions are displayed in English.
Poster upload within the deadline is mandatory for all Voice of EPOS™ presenters. Deadline: January 9, 2020
If you do not upload your poster before the deadline, your presentation for The Voice of EPOS™ will be cancelled.
You can refer to already published posters for examples of the format - to access the best posters of ECR 2019 please click here.
Please note that posters cannot be uploaded in .pdf or .ppt format. If you include videos in your poster and wish to show them during your talk, please check the loading time and display quality to make sure that a smooth presentation is possible. There is a limit of 2,500 words for the text, but we recommend to structure the poster in a way that enables a compatible oral presentation of 4-5 minutes maximum.
Please prepare a speech of 4-5 minutes maximum highlighting the main messages/teaching points of your poster.
During your presentation, you will be able to access your uploaded poster in the Presentation Mode on a laptop at the speaker's desk, and the same image will also be shown to the audience on a large screen.
You can click through the poster and show any section or image that you wish in order to highlight the main message of your work.
Please note that it is not possible to show additional files such as slides, videos or images - all presentation elements must be part of your poster.
However, you can of course prepare notes for yourself to back up your oral presentation.
There might be changes in the order of presentations, and therefore the presenting authors are asked to attend the entire session.
Presenters are kindly asked to check in at the Voice of EPOS desk 10-15 minutes before the session starts. For Stage 5 please check in at the Radiographers Voice of EPOS desk.
During the presentation, your poster will be displayed in a format slightly different from the EPOS Online format. You can preview your finished poster in the Presentation Mode in your Poster Submission account to prepare your oral presentation and make sure that you know where to find all relevant images and text parts.
Presenting authors of The Voice of EPOS™ will receive a certificate of their oral presentation by e-mail after the congress.
Certificates related to the EPOS™ poster (online and onsite presentation) will be available for download in the MyUserArea of the presenter after the congress.
All presentations will be broadcast online via the ECR Online streaming service, and the recordings are included in ECR Online.
With their participation in The Voice of EPOS™ the presenting authors agree to the live streaming and recording.
The presenting author can withdraw his/her consent at any time by sending an email to email@example.com.
