Membership

ESR mourns the passing of Prof. Miloš A. Lučić

It is with great sadness that the European Society of Radiology (ESR) announces the passing of Professor Miloš A. Lučić, a distinguished radiologist and neuroradiologist who made significant contributions to radiological education and professional development in Serbia, the Balkan region and across Europe. 

Prof. Lučić held numerous academic and professional leadership positions throughout his career and was particularly dedicated to education and the advancement of standards in radiology. His involvement in European radiology spanned more than two decades, including roles within the ESR, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) and European Board of Radiology (EBR), where he contributed extensively to radiological education, accreditation and professional development. 

Professor Lučić will be remembered as a dedicated physician and academic, a passionate educator and a committed advocate for collaboration within the radiological community.

He will be greatly missed by the ESR and the wider radiology community.
