European Commission adopts recommendations on clinical audits of medical radiological practices

We are delighted to announce that on April 18, the European Commission adopted recommendations regarding clinical audits of medical radiological practices. These recommendations outline precise measures and best practices for establishing and sustaining a national audit system in radiology, radiotherapy, and nuclear medicine.

The recommendations are the culmination of  collaborative efforts between various stakeholders, including the ESR co-led QuADRANT project, the Heads of the European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities (HERCA), the SAMIRA Steering Group on Quality and Safety, and the European Commission.
