European Commission Calls for Experts in Breast Cancer Screening and Diagnosis Guidelines

The ESR is pleased to announce that the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), in collaboration with the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), has announced the formation of a new Working Group dedicated to developing guidelines for breast cancer screening and diagnosis. This initiative aims to establish comprehensive requirements for breast cancer services that span the entire care pathway.

The JRC is inviting clinical, scientific, and technical experts in relevant fields to express their interest in becoming members of this vital Working Group. Experts, including radiologists and interventional radiologists, are encouraged to apply.

In addition to clinical and technical experts, the European Commission is also seeking patients and/or caregivers to contribute to the Working Group.

The ESR is actively supporting this call and encourages qualified professionals and patients to participate.

Application Deadline: July 17
