The European Society of Radiology and the ESR Journals are excited to announce the publication of its debut series of articles in – European Radiology Breast. A result of collaboration between the ESR and the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI), this journal has now published its first papers, including the inaugural editorial written by the editors of the journal.
Led by the Editor-in-Chief Sophia Zackrisson (Malmo, SW) and the Senior Deputy Editor Eva M. Fallenberg (Munich, DE), the journal establishes an arena in which multimodality breast imaging can be showcased by exploring innovations within the field.
“We are delighted to see European Radiology Breast publish its first articles and become a reality through our partnership with EUSOBI”, says Prof. Minerva Becker, Chair of the ESR Board of Directors. “This journal provides the breast imaging community with a dedicated forum to share scientific advances, encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, and shape the future of the field.”
“This is a very exciting time for the European Radiology journal family as we publish the first series of articles in European Radiology Breast”, says Prof. Ferdia Gallagher, Chair of the ESR Publications Committee. “I have no doubt that this new journal will play an important role in the future of breast imaging and am delighted that Prof. Sophia Zackrisson has agreed to take on the key role of Editor-in-Chief.”
