Christoph D. Becker; Geneva/CH

Christoph D. Becker accomplished his undergraduate medical studies and his postgraduate training in radiology at the University Hospital of Berne, Switzerland. Following an elective year in visceral surgery, he completed a two-year fellowship in abdominal interventional radiology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. After returning to Berne, he joined the radiology staff at the University Hospital in Berne and earned his academic degree as Privat-docent.

Lorenzo E. Derchi; Genoa/IT

Professor Lorenzo E. Derchi was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1949. He married and got three children, from which he has three granddaughters. Professor Derchi graduated in medicine in his hometown in 1975. In 1979 he was certified in radiology and was promoted to Professor in 1994. The same year, he was given the chair one of the radiology units in the hospital "San Martino".

Luis Martí-Bonmatí; Valencia/ES

Luis Martí-Bonmatí is Director of the Medical Imaging Department and Chairman of Radiology at La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital in Valencia, Spain. He is also the founder and director of the Biomedical Imaging Research Group (GIBI230) at La Fe Health Research Institute, which hosts both advanced clinical and experimental radiology facilities.

Professor Laura Oleaga received her medical degree from the School of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Madrid. She completed her training in radiology at the Hospital Donostia in San Sebastian and then trained as a Research Fellow in magnetic resonance imaging at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Radiology. She then went on to serve as a specialist in magnetic resonance imaging at the Hospital of Basurto, Bilbao.
