Professor Catalano is a full professor of radiology and chairs the Department of Radiological, Oncological and Pathological Sciences at the Sapienza University of Rome, Policlinico Umberto I. He obtained his medical degree at the Sapienza University of Rome in 1990 and completed his training in radiology at the University of L'Aquila in 1994.

Professor Catalano's main clinical interests are cardiovascular and oncological imaging. He leads research in digital health and innovations at the Sapienza University of Rome, focusing on integrating digital health data to develop precision medicine and digital and biological twins, to improve diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. His research track record is in digital health in cardiovascular and oncological diseases, for which he collaborates with numerous centres worldwide. He has been awarded several grants as a principal investigator coordinating numerous centres.

Professor Catalano is the ESR President. He has also chaired the ESR Educational Committee and has served in numerous other committees and sub-committees of the ESR and ESR sub-speciality societies.

Professor Catalano represents the ESR on the Board of the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), in which he co-chairs the committee Digital Health.

He has authored or co-authored more than 500 papers, which have been cited over 13,000 times. He has authored numerous chapters, edited several books, and is also a part of the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals.

Professor Catalano has delivered more than 500 invited lectures, including the Josef Lissner lecture at ECR 2013.

Andrea Rockall is Clinical Chair in Radiology at Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, with clinical expertise in genito-urinary imaging.

After graduating from medical school at King's College London, and completion of MRCP (internal medicine), she trained in radiology at St Mary's Hospital and University College Hospital, London. She was awarded the Rohan Williams Medal (Gold Medal) for the FRCR examination. In 2000, she was appointed as Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Barts and The London NHS Trust. Following appointments at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, Professor Rockall was appointed as Clinical Chair of Radiology, Imperial College London. She has served as Chair of the Female Pelvic Imaging group of ESUR, member of ORADS steering committee, Chair of the ESR National Societies Committee and is currently ESR 1^st Vice President.

Professor Rockall's special interests are in genitourinary cancer, image-based clinical trials, and machine-learning applications in radiology, being Chief Investigator on CRUK and NIHR funded studies in these areas. She contributes widely to undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist radiology education and is passionate about sustainability in healthcare.

Adrian Brady is a consultant radiologist at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Ireland, with particular interests in interventional radiology and abdominal (GI and GU) imaging.

After medical school and radiology training in Dublin, he moved to Canada for fellowship training in Hamilton, Ontario, before becoming a staff radiologist in Toronto. In 1995 he moved to his present post in Cork.

Dr Brady is also the Medical Director of the National Centre for Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) in Ireland and has a particular interest and expertise in the management of pulmonary AVMs. He has served in many posts within the Irish National Radiology Society (which also runs nationwide specialist radiology training) - the Faculty of Radiologists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - having been Dean (President) of the Faculty from 2010 to 2012. He has been involved in ESR activities for many years, chaired the ESR Quality Safety and Standards Committee from 2017 to 2020, and is the current Chair of the ESR Board of Directors.

Professor Brady has published and spoken widely in recent years on professional issues, including radiologists' workload, errors and discrepancies in radiology, radiology reporting style and structure, value-based imaging, and artificial intelligence in radiology (with a particular emphasis on ethics).

Professor Minerva Becker, MD is Head of the Unit of Head and Neck and Maxillo-facial Radiology, Diagnostic Department, at the Geneva University Hospitals. Her clinical expertise includes imaging in head and neck oncology, the skull base, orbit, salivary glands, and inner ear, with a strong tertiary multidisciplinary activity in the respective fields.

Being widely recognised as an enthusiastic academic teacher, she is in charge of a part of the undergraduate radiology programme at her faculty of medicine. On a national and international level, she has given over 450 invited lectures focusing on head and neck radiology. Over many years, she has chaired the Education Committee of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR), overseeing the European subspecialty training curriculum and the subspecialty examination in head and neck radiology. She is the Past President of the ESHNR. From 2021 to 2023 she has served on the Executive Council of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) as chair of the Education Committee.

As a leader of the Research Group on Head and Neck Radiology at the University of Geneva, she has led multiple research projects as a primary scientific investigator with competitive public grants funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Her scientific work has mainly focused on advanced oncologic imaging in the head and neck with MRI, CT, PET CT, and PET MRI. Professor Becker's most recent research projects are dedicated to multiparametric imaging and texture analysis. Her academic record includes over 200 scientific articles. She is the recipient of 30 prestigious international or national awards for her scientific and educational work. Professor Becker has served on the editorial board or in the review process of 12 international scientific journals in radiology, oncology, and otorhinolaryngology.

Professor Regina Beets-Tan, MD, PhD, is Chair of the Department of Radiology at The Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam.

Professor Beets-Tan's clinical expertise is in oncologic and abdominal imaging. Her track record is in colorectal cancer imaging research. The research at her department is multidisciplinary and focuses on modern imaging technology for early diagnosis, response prediction, interventional oncology and artificial intelligence.

Professor Beets-Tan is the Scientific Director of EIBIR, former Chair of the ESR Board of Directors, past President of the ESGAR, former President of the ESOI and former member of the EU Mission Board for Cancer. As president of various societies, Professor Beets-Tan has instigated a collaboration between radiological and other medical organisations because she believes that a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment is the key to better patient outcomes.

Professor Beets-Tan is a member of several editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals and books, has authored or co-authored over 400 publications, and delivered over 550 lectures in radiological and clinical society meetings. She participates in research councils of the Dutch Organisation of Science and the Dutch Cancer Society. She has received several scientific and teaching awards, including the 2013 ESOR Best Teacher Award and the ISMRM Outstanding Teacher Award in 2008, 2009, and 2014.

Konstantin Nikolaou is a Professor of Radiology and Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Eberhard-Karl-University in Tübingen, Germany. He received his medical degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich in the year 2000, where he also became an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Radiology, University Hospitals Munich, after finalising his PhD-thesis on the topic of modern cardiovascular computed tomography techniques in 2007. He was the Vice Chair of the same Department from 2007 to 2014.

Professor Nikolaou joined the Eberhard-Karl-University Tübingen in April 2014 as Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. His main fields of interest are multimodality and multiparametric imaging modalities in oncology and non-invasive imaging of cardiovascular diseases. He has authored and co-authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications.

Professor Nikolaou is President-Elect of the German Roentgen Ray Society (DRG) as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR), Member of the International Society of Strategic Studies in Radiology (IS3R) and Honorary Member of the Greek Society of Radiology. He has been involved in several national and international publicly funded grants and is currently one of the principal investigators within the Cluster of Excellence (German Ministry of Education and Research) project on "Image-Guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies (iFIT)" (2180 EXC).

Marion Smits is a professor and neuroradiologist at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

Professor Smits combines clinical work with scientific research into applied physiological MR neuroimaging, such as functional MRI, diffusion, and perfusion imaging. She uses these techniques to visualise the brain's function and microarchitecture and to study the pathophysiological and regenerative processes in various neurological diseases. Her primary focus is neuro-oncology.

Professor Smits applies her clinical expertise with scientific research and active participation in key international organisations, such as the ESR, EORTC, and ESMRMB. She uses this unique combination of affiliations to establish productive connections between relevant clinical research questions and implement scientific innovation in clinical practice while disseminating knowledge and expertise through her numerous national and international teaching activities.

Dr England is Senior Lecturer in radiography in the discipline of medical imaging and radiation therapy at University College Cork, Ireland, where he is the MSc research coordinator for diagnostic radiography and radiation therapy and teaches across a range of under and postgraduate courses.

Dr England's research interests include digital radiography, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology, and dose optimisation.

Dr England was previously elected Chair of the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS) Educational Wing, having been a member of the EFRS Educational Wing since 2015, a network of 66 educational institutions. He is an Executive Board member of the EFRS.

Dr England is a former member of the United Kingdom Society and College of Radiographers' Research Committee and former Chair of the Radiographers Scientific Subcommittee for ECR.

He has delivered over 100 conference presentations, contributed to over 100 journal articles, and has held significant national and international research grants.

Patricia Figueiredo is an associate professor for the Department of Bioengineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and Principal Investigator of the Biomedical Engineering Lab at the Institute for Systems and Robotics – Lisboa, in Portugal. She has been Chair of the Medical Imaging and Neuroimaging courses and Vice-Coordinator of the MSc Programme in Biomedical Engineering.

Professor Figueiredo's research is focused on imaging human brain function non-invasively. She seeks to obtain more quantitative measures of brain physiology, including perfusion and cerebrovascular reactivity, through advanced MRI techniques. She also combines EEG with functional MRI to help disentangle multiple physiological phenomena and assess the spatiotemporal dynamics of brain networks. Her methodological developments have been applied in the study of the healthy brain as well as disorders such as epilepsy, dementia, migraine, and schizophrenia.

Professor Figueiredo has coordinated several national and international research projects and regularly participates in European networks in brain imaging. Her work has been distinguished with a prize for Women in Science by L'Oréal Portugal, a Best Paper Award by the Portuguese League against Epilepsy, and the António Xavier Prize for the best Portuguese PhD Thesis in NMR, EPR or MRI, as an advisor.

Professor Figueiredo is a member of the Executive Board of the ESMRMB. She was the Chair of the 2021 Congress Planning Committee and is currently the society's President-Elect.

Dr Mika Kortesniemi is the chief medical physicist and adjunct professor at the HUS Diagnostic Center, University of Helsinki, Finland. 

Dr Kortesniemi's professional focus is on quality assurance, dosimetry, optimisation, and radiation protection in x-ray modalities, especially in the evolving CT technology. His research focuses primarily on radiological optimisation, utilising anthropomorphic phantoms, Monte Carlo simulations, and artificial intelligence. 

In addition to his position at the HUS Diagnostic Center, Dr Kortesniemi is actively involved in IAEA, ICRP, and EFOMP and has a lot of experience in quality audits in radiology and medical diagnostics.

Professor Cem Calli finished his medical training at Ege University Medical Faculty in 1992 and started his radiology residency at the same university. He became associate professor of radiology in 2002 and full professor of radiology in 2007. He started his work on neuroradiology in 1995 and has held the position of Chief of the Neuroradiology Section at Ege University Medical Faculty since 2009. He gave more than 200 invited lectures in national and international meetings. For many years, Professor Calli worked as an executive committee member in the Turkish Society of Neuroradiology and the Turkish Society of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. 

He is currently Secretary General of the Turkish Society of Neuroradiology (TSNR), President-Elect of the European Society of Emergency Radiology (ESER), Board member of the European Board of Neuroradiology (EBNR), Membership Committee Chair of European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) and Treasurer of European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR). Currently, he serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Society of Radiology (TSR).

Dr. Leonor Cerdá Alberich, PhD, is the head of the Computing and AI Department within the Biomedical Imaging Research Group (GIBI230) at the La Fe Health Research Institute.

She has worked as an experimental physicist and data scientist at the Institute for Corpuscular Physics (IFIC, University of Valencia – CSIC), working on the analysis of large unstructured data sets collected with the ATLAS experiment at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), where she obtained her doctorate Cum Laude in Physics in 2018.

Dr. Cerdá currently leads and performs tasks related to biomedical image processing and the development of artificial intelligence algorithms and methodologies for the extraction of image biomarkers and prediction of relevant clinical outcomes.

Her main research lines include the harmonisation of imaging data, obtention of radiogenomic signatures, heterogeneity studies based on identifying tumour habitats, and the development of novel methodologies for feature selection and prediction of clinical endpoints for improving patient management in clinical practice. Dr. Cerdá has extensive experience in data analysis, image modelling with artificial intelligence (AI), development of image standardisation algorithms, extraction of quantitative parameters, automatic segmentation of organs and tumours, data acquisition, technical management, tutoring and outreach.

Dr. Cerdá is a member of several editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals and books, has authored or co-authored over 450 publications, and delivered many talks at radiological and clinical society meetings. She is a medical imaging and AI lecturer for official academic programmes at the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Marc Dewey is the Heisenberg Professor of the German Research Foundation and Vice-Chair of Radiology at Charité, Universitätsmedizin, Berlin.

Professor Dewey's primary research interest is cardiac imaging. He coordinates the Pan-European randomised DISCHARGE trial, is the Editor of Cardiac CT, Section Editor of Cardiac of European Radiology, and a consultant to the Editor of Radiology.

Professor Dewey was Secretary of the Congress of the German Röntgen Society in 2010 and President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Radiological Society from 2011 to 2013. He initiated the Clinical Trials in Radiology sessions at ECR in 2015 and the My Thesis in 3 Minutes sessions with Dr. Marc Zins in 2018. He has taken on several roles within the European Society of Radiology, notably as Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee, from 2019 to 2020, a member of the e-learning Editorial Board, Chair of the ESR Research Committee from 2019 to 2022, and Chair of the ESR Publications Committee from 2022.

His team has more than 200 publications, with an impact factor of 1,700, and his h-index is 55. Professor Dewey has received the two highest scientific awards of the German Röntgen Society, the Röntgen Award in 2009 and the Curie Ring in 2012.

Elena Drakonaki is a clinical radiologist and an assistant professor of anatomy at the Medical School of the University of Crete, Greece. She trained in radiology as a resident at the University Hospital of Heraklion and as a musculoskeletal and PET/CT fellow at the Oxford Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the Oxford Churchill Cancer Centre. She has been a visiting lecturer of anatomy at the European University Medical School in Cyprus and has worked as a radiology consultant in the NHS system and the private sector in Greece and the UK.

She serves as the current Chairperson of the Educational Committee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR), managing the ESSR Diploma in MSK radiology (EDiMSK). She is also the vice-chair of the Hellenic Society of Skeletal Radiology and an active member of the ESSR Intervention and Ultrasound Subcommittees. She has been a faculty member at several ESSR, ECR and Euroson meetings and in several MSK ultrasound courses, having delivered more than 80 invited lectures in meetings and workshops. She has contributed to numerous book chapters, guidelines and highly-cited papers (PubMed papers> 78, Scopus citations> 2600, h-index> 19). Her research and clinical interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound and intervention, imaging anatomy, orbital imaging, MRI for thalassemia (PhD thesis) and sarcoma (PostDoc) and ultrasound elastography.

Michel Eisenblätter currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital OWL, Campus Lippe and Chair of Clinical Radiology at the Medical Faculty OWL, University of Bielefeld, Germany.

He obtained his medical degree and training in clinical radiology from the University of Münster, Germany. Professor Eisenblätter joined King's College London as a clinical research fellow in 2010, working between the Division of Imaging Sciences and the Dimbleby Department of Cancer Research for five years. He earned a PhD in Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering in 2017.

Before his appointment at the University of Bielefeld, Professor Eisenblätter served as Head of Oncologic Imaging at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University of Freiburg Medical Center.

In 2019, Prof. Eisenblätter was awarded the Wilhelm-Conrad-Röntgen-Prize of the German Society of Radiology.

He is an active member of the ESOI, the ESHI Executive Board Member and has also held various offices in the German Society of Radiology.

Professor Manuela França is a Head of the Radiology Department at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto, Portugal, and invited full professor at the University of Porto (ICBAS). Professor França graduated from the University of Porto in 2002 and she was board-certified in radiology in 2011. She obtained her PhD degree at the University of Porto in 2017, with distinction. Her current research interests focus on imaging of liver and pancreatic diseases, mainly imaging of liver tumours and iron overload disorders. She is also focused on health management and medical education.

Professor França is a researcher at the 3S-Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde, University of Porto. She is a member of the Board of the Portuguese Radiological Society (SPRMN) and a member of the Board of the College of Radiologists at the Portuguese Medical Association (Ordem dos Médicos).

She is an active fellow of the ESGAR and a member of the Education Committee, and a member of the ESR programme planning committee. She is a member of the European Network of rare haematological diseases (EuroBloodNet) and an honorary member of the Sociedad Española de Diagnóstico por Imagen del Abdomen (SEDIA). She was also a member of the ESR EIBALL subcommittee (2019-2022).

Professor França authored 25 publications and seven book chapters, and she has given more than 60 invited lectures, mainly on abdominal imaging.

Professor Stéphanie Franchi-Abella received her medical degree from the University of Paris, France, where she completed her residency in radiology. She joined the Paediatric Radiology Department at Bicêtre Hospital, Paris XI University, in 2001 and is currently Head of the Paediatric Interventional Radiology Department. 

Professor Franchi-Abella works closely with hepatologists and surgeons, and her two major clinical activities are abdominal imaging and interventional radiology. Her research focuses on paediatric liver transplantation, congenital hepatic vascular malformations, and the development of imaging biomarkers for liver disease, such as liver and spleen elastography for fibrosis and portal hypertension, quantitative microDoppler, quantification of fat using ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging.

After finishing his residency in diagnostic radiology, Professor Hatzidakis worked as a scientific assistant for 20 months in the Unit of Interventional Radiology, University Hospital of Heraklion, between 1997 and 1998. In April 1998, he was elected as a vascular and interventional radiology lecturer. He worked afterwards at the Medical School of Crete until 2019 and left this institution as an associate professor. 

Since 2019, he has been appointed a professor of radiology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He works as Head of the Interventional Radiology Unit of the AHEPA University Hospital.

Professor Hatzidakis' main scientific interest is in interventional radiology, focusing on the hepatobiliary pancreatic system, percutaneous biliary endoscopy and lithotripsy, TIPS procedures, intraarterial embolisations and chemo-embolisations, radio-frequency/microwave ablation, and various non-vascular abdominal and musculoskeletal interventions. 

He is an author or co-author of more than 100 Scopus-cited publications and a member of the ESR, ESGAR, and CIRSE. He was the chairperson of the Interventional Subcommittee for the ECR 2007.

Professor Hatzidakis is a fellow of the ESGAR and CIRSE, Elected Chairman of the Programme Committee of the CIRSE from 2023 to 2024.

Anagha P. Parkar, MD, PhD, is a radiologist at Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital in Bergen, Norway.

She received her medical degree from the Ruhr Universität Bochum, Germany, in 1998. After the obligatory clinical internships in surgery and medicine, as well as general practice in Northern Norway from 1999 to 2001, she commenced her radiology training in Bergen. She completed her radiology training in 2007 and stayed on for a year at the Haukeland University Hospital in the Department of Thoracic Radiology.

Since 2008, Dr. Parkar has worked as a general radiologist with a particular interest in musculoskeletal imaging, chest imaging, and cardiac CT imaging. She is actively involved in teaching medical students from the University of Bergen and researching musculoskeletal and chest imaging.

Dr. Parkar has served on the boards of the Norwegian Society of Radiology, Norwegian Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and European Society of Skeletal radiology. She is currently a part of the executive committee of the Norwegian Thoracic radiology society and the European Society of Thoracic imaging.

In the family of ESR/EBR, she is active on several boards and committees and also serves on committees in the International Skeletal Society.

Professor Pediconi did her medical and residency school at the "Sapienza" University in Rome, where she is currently an associate professor of radiology. She spent her entire professional career at this institution. She has been a professor in charge of the Breast Imaging Unit of the Department of Radiological Sciences since 2004. Professor Pediconi leads an enthusiastic and productive team of academic breast imagers. 

Since March 2011, she has been the chairperson of the Educational Committee of the EUSOBI (European Society of Breast Imaging) and in the educational committee of the ESR for three years (European Society of Radiology). She served at the ESR in the Breast Scientific Subcommittee as a member for over three years and as a chairperson in 2017.

She was the chairperson of the European Diploma in Breast Imaging from 2010 to 2018 and is still supporting the EDBI as an examiner or observer. Professor Pediconi holds the title "EBBI (European Board of Breast Imaging)".

Since 2012, she is also in the executive board of the SIRM (Italian Society of Radiology), Breast Section.

She has been the coordinator or co-organiser of more than 180 congresses and invited speakers to more than 230 national and international events. Professor Pediconi has been the Director of the Breast MRI course of EUSOBI since 2010.

She presented more than 360 abstracts at national and international congresses and published about 84 papers and books. Her clinical activities mainly focus on breast imaging, comprised of interventional and MRI.

Luca Saba is Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Cagliari, Chairman of Radiology at Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria di Cagliari and professor of radiology.

His research fields focus on multi-detector-row computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, neuroradiology, and diagnostic in vascular sciences. Professor Saba is the co-chair of the CT Angiography Biomarker Committee of the Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers Alliance of the Radiological Society of North America. He is Editor in Chief of "The Neuroradiology Journal".

Professor Saba is a member of different international societies, and in particular, he is a member of the ESCR (European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology) Guidelines Committee, a member of the Neuroradiology Subcommittee of the Annual Meeting Programme Planning Committee Radiological Society of North America and a member of the ASFNR Publication Committee.

Katarina Surlan Popovic is a professor of radiology, Head of the Neuroradiology Department at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and Head of the Radiology Department at the Medical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.

Professor Surlan Popovic studied medicine at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and specialised in radiology at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana. Her main research fields include head and neck oncology, neurooncology and multiparametric imaging.

She is the author of over 70 scientific publications and two textbooks. She is a member of the editorial board of Neuroradiology and Radiology and Oncology. She also reviews international and national scientific journals, is actively involved in teaching medical students and serves as an expert in international and national juries for university nominations and promotions.

Professor Surlan Popovic is the author of over 150 invited lectures at international and national meetings. She is a Chairperson of the Head and Neck Neuroradiology subcommittee in the ESNR and director of the Head and Neck Neuroradiology Courses.

Dr. Edith Vassallo is a consultant radiologist interested in head and neck imaging at Mater Dei Hospital, Malta. She received her medical degree from the University of Malta in 2008. After completing her pre-specialist radiology training in 2015, she embarked on two head and neck imaging fellowships. One at the University of Brescia and Brescia Spedali Civili General Hospital, Italy, and the second at AZ Sint Jan Hospital in Bruges, Belgium.

Her clinical work is focused on oncologic imaging with particular emphasis on head and neck oncology. She also has a particular interest in otology and skull base imaging.

Dr. Vassallo is an active member of the Maltese Association of Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians (MARNMP) and the European Society of Radiology (ESR). She holds a position as a fellow and board member of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR) and is a member of its education committee. In 2017, she was the local organiser of the ESMRMB Advanced Head and Neck MR Imaging Course held in Malta. This year she will be the local organiser of the ESHNR 2023 35th Annual Meeting and Refresher Course to be held in Malta.

She was a scientific subcommittee member for ECR 2021, a scientific subcommittee reviewer for ECR 2022, Head and Neck scientific subcommittee member for ECR 2023 and member of the programme planning committee for ECR 2024. Dr. Vassallo currently serves as Chair of the ESR Undergraduate Education Subcommittee.

She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta where she is actively involved in radiology education for medical students.

Dr Michelle Williams is a senior clinical lecturer and honorary radiology consultant at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. She is the Associate Director of the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre and the Imaging Theme Lead. Her research centres around multimodality non-invasive imaging of the heart and blood vessels, including machine learning and other advanced analytic techniques. She is the President-elect of the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, a member of the executive board of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology, a member of the Board of Directors of the SCCT and chair of the SCCT education committee.

Georgina Allen is the Director of a CQC-registered Musculoskeletal Radiology and Clinical practice in Oxford, treating outsourced NHS and private patients. Dr. Allen uses the skills obtained as a GP, sports physician and radiologist to enable her to manage musculoskeletal disorders from clinical examination through laboratory investigation, imaging, and therapeutic procedures. She helps General Electric to develop ultrasound technology. Dr. Allen has researched ankle sprain outcomes, shoulder pain, sarcopenia, Achilles, and patellar tendon injection therapies. For the latter, she gained an MSc.

Dr. Allen was Chair of the ESSR Ultrasound Committee, helping publish seven international guidelines and was the only female committee member organising imaging at the London Olympics 2012. She is the MSK Editor for Acta Radiologica Scandinavica and the MSK section editor for the European Journal of Radiology.

Dr. Allen is the 2022/3 Royal College of Radiologists/BSSR Travelling Professor, teaching radiology registrars in the UK. She teaches at the University of Oxford in orthopaedics, general medicine, and imaging and was recently elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. She teaches ultrasound skills at the Anglo-European Chiropractic University in Bournemouth and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has trained many visiting fellows from overseas.

Dr. Allen has written over 65 peer-reviewed articles and chapters and published a textbook on MSK-guided intervention in 2017. In 2016 and 2019, she won the prize for the best scientific paper at the European Congress of Radiology.

Aleksandra Aracki Trenkic is an assistant professor in radiology at the Medical Faculty, University of Nis, Serbia. She gained permanent employment at the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology, Center for Radiology, University Clinical Center of Nis in February 2010.
Professor Aracki Trenkic defended her doctoral dissertation in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, titled "The role of non-contrast magnetic resonance perfusion in diagnostics, therapy and clinical outcome prognosis in acute ischemic stroke". She passed a subspecialty exam in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology in 2019 and was awarded the certificate for academic excellence for participating in OMI Salzburg Medical Seminar on Diagnostic Imaging. Professor Aracki Trenkic received a scholarship from the European Society of Radiology (ESOR) in 2016 as a trainee in neuroradiology.
She was an active participant and a lecturer at many conferences of national and international importance. Professor Aracki Trenkic is the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers published in Serbia and abroad, and her most recent research projects are dedicated to dementia. Her clinical and research interests are in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, particularly in improving the techniques and organisation of stroke treatment. She is an active ESR, ESNR, ESMINT, and CIRSE member.

Maximilian de Bucourt is the Head of Interventional Radiology at Campus Benjamin Franklin and the Deputy Head of the Interventional Radiology section at Charité, Universitätsmedizin, Berlin.

With doctorate degrees in medicine and economics and PhD degrees in radiology and health economics, his research interests encompass human medicine, health economics, and radiology. Current academic pursuits include endovascular simulation, visceral artery therapies, materials development, embolisation models, pulmonary embolism treatment with large bore aspiration catheters, development and integration of angiography systems into clinical workflow, and quality management and dose reduction techniques.

Dr. de Bucourt oversees the teaching curriculum of the Radiology Department at Charité. This unique programme involves weekly lectures on its three university campuses for approximately 100 radiology residents. These lectures, led by around 50 board-certified radiologists, cover over 100 defined topics within two years, elemental for radiology board certification in Germany. Additionally, he is actively involved in managing the department's teleradiology commitments. At ECR, he has co-chaired as Cube Programme Coordinator since its initiation in 2018.

Holding specialised IR certifications from the German and European Societies of Interventional Radiology (DeGIR II A-D and EBIR) and being a CIRSE Fellow, he is an active member of ESR, DRG, DeGIR, and CIRSE.

His publication record includes over 65 peer-reviewed articles and 44 book chapters across four books. He has been a reviewer for more than 20 journals and delivered over 250 invited lectures.

Dr. Iacopo Carbone is a general radiologist and associate professor of radiology at "Sapienza" University of Rome.

Since 2018, Dr. Carbone has been the head of the "Academic Diagnostic Imaging Division" at the I.C.O.T. Hospital in Latina, Italy. His clinical work is mainly focused on cardiovascular, thoracic and oncologic imaging.

In the last nine years, he was the editor of three radiology books for beginners, provided for free to all Italian radiology residents.

Clemens Cyran is a professor of radiology at the Faculty of Medicine and Vice-Chair of the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany.

After graduating from medical school in Munich, Professor Cyran assumed a position as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Pharmaceutical and Molecular Imaging, University of California, San Francisco, from 2006 to 2007, with a research focus on imaging biomarkers of therapy response in experimental oncology. He completed his residency in radiology in Munich in 2013 and is also board certified in diagnostic nuclear medicine.

Between 2017 and 2019, Professor Cyran served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and was Section Chief of the hybrid imaging department. Following a period in private practice, he returned to academia in July 2020, reassuming his position as Vice-Chair at the Department of Radiology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

Professor Cyran's research focuses on developing and validating imaging biomarkers of therapy response in oncology using multimodality hybrid imaging techniques, including MRI, multi-tracer PET, and optical fluorescence imaging, with a strong translational focus. His current projects investigate methods of automated image analysis of digital molecular imaging data using artificial intelligence-based algorithms and artificial intelligence-based analytics for multidisciplinary diagnostic data in integrated diagnostics.

Marco Francone is a full professor of radiology and director of the residency programme at Humanitas University in Milan (Italy). For the past ten years, he has been frequently invited to lecture at major radiological and cardiological conferences such as the ESOR, SCMR, ESCR, CIRSE, RSNA, and ECR.

He served as cardiac subcommittee chairperson at ECR 2020 after having been consecutively involved as a subcommittee member. Professor Francone was involved in the RTF Quiz's organisation in the ECR's last two editions. At RSNA, he lectured at refresher courses for the last five consecutive years. Moreover, he was a radiographics panellist and Educational Exhibit Awards Committee member.

His research is dedicated to cardiovascular imaging with CT and MR, specifically focusing on coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction and cardiomyopathies. He authored more than 140 indexed papers with an impact greater than 600. He chairs the guidelines committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology and has previously been part of the board of Trustee of the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and acted as Past President Italian College of Cardiac Radiology.

Marco Francone is active in national and international imaging societies. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of European Radiology (as cardiac imaging section chief), European Journal of Radiology, International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging, and Radiologia Medica.

Marco Francone seeks to advance cardiovascular imaging technology and educate physicians in its use with the ultimate goal of providing optimal outcomes for our patients. He strongly advocates fruitful cooperation between radiologists, cardiologists and physicists towards this goal.

Afshin Gangi is a professor of radiology and Chairman of the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Department at the University Hospital Strasbourg, France.

Professor Gangi finished his residency in interventional radiology under Professor R.F. Dondelinger's supervision in 1991 in Luxembourg. In 1997, he received a doctorate in laser physics and became an associate professor in diagnostic and interventional radiology. His full professorship was awarded in 2000, and in 2007 he was named the Chairman of the Department.

During his carrier, Professor Gangi has led several big research projects and received numerous awards and honorary fellowships, such as the one from the British Society of Interventional Radiology and the German Society of Interventional Radiology.

He published over 200 scientific papers, gave over 500 lectures, and contributed to 40 books. He served on the CIRSE Executive Committee and was President of the Society from 2019 to 2021.

Professor Vicky Goh is the Chair and Head of the Department of Cancer Imaging, School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, King's College London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, London. She has served on the European School of Radiology (ESOR) Steering Committee, European Society of Radiology (ESR) Education (Undergraduate Subcommittee Chair) and research commitees; and European Society of Oncologic Imaging (ESOI) Education (Chair) and research committees. She is also a past President of ESOI. She is a Fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and chairs the ESGAR working group for anal cancer imaging guidelines.

In the United Kingdom, she chairs the Academic Committee of the Royal College of Radiologists and Workforce Group of the National Institute for Health and Care Research Imaging Group. Since 2023, she has been Senior Deputy Editor for Radiology and, since 2019, Associate Editor for Radiology: Imaging Cancer. Prof Goh’s clinical practice and research is focussed on cancer imaging, in particular the tumour microenvironment, quantitative imaging biomarkers and AI.

She has authored and co-authored over 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals and given more than 150 invited international lectures.

Mrs. Justich is a current chair of the ESR Patient Advisory Group (PAG) and founder of Be accepted, a communication tool for radiologists and female cancer patients.

She started her professional career at Meinl Bank in institutional and investment banking, as she was engaged at events and took on the role of a speaker. She then moved with her entire team to a daughter company of the GRAWE insurance group and built up their distribution network and team. She moved on as a director with Q Advisors, executing special situation deals in M&A, real estate, IPOs and start-ups as she held an authorised signatory of Informica Immobilien Ges.

Michail Klontzas is a senior and former chief resident of the radiology residency programme at the University Hospital of Iraklion and collaborating researcher of the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology (ICS-FORTH, Greece). He holds a PhD from Imperial College London, an MD from the University of Crete, and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Emory University School of Medicine and Georgia Institute of Technology.

His research interests lie within musculoskeletal radiology with an emphasis on radiomics and artificial intelligence and biomedical engineering. He is a member of the trainee editorial board of "Radiology: Artificial Intelligence" (RSNA) and has served on the trainee editorial board of RadioGraphics (RSNA). Dr. Klontzas is an elected board member of EuSoMII and a member of the board of the Radiology Trainee Forum (RTF) of the European Society of Radiology.

He has published over 60 PubMed-indexed articles, six book chapters for international publishers and is editing the book "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" published by Springer under the auspices of EuSoMII.

Andrea Laghi is a full professor of radiology and nuclear medicine in the Department of Medical Surgical Sciences and Translational Medicine at the Sapienza University of Rome, and Chairman of Radiology at "Sant Andrea" University Hospital in Rome, Italy. He is currently a member of the Superior Health Council of the Italian Ministry of Health, President of the ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and Past-President of the ESOI (European Society of Oncologic Imaging). Professor Laghi is an Honorary Member of the Spanish Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (SEDIA), the Iranian Society of Radiology (ISR) and the Society of Oncologic Imaging in India (SOII). He is the author of over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 20 textbooks. His main research areas are abdominal imaging, with expertise in bowel imaging and oncology, including hybrid imaging. His research was supported by numerous grants from European and national research organisations, charities and industry.

Tim Leiner is a professor of radiology and cardiovascular radiologist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, United States. He is also a professor of radiology at Utrecht University Medical Center, Utrecht, The Netherlands. He received his medical degree in 2000 from Maastricht University Medical School. In 2002, Professor Leiner obtained his PhD from the same university. Following his PhD, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Cardiac MR Center at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston under Dr. Warren Manning. He then completed his radiology residency at Maastricht University Medical Center, during which he spent three months at the Vascular Imaging Laboratory at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, United States.
His research interests are developing and implementing new cardiovascular MR and CT techniques. Professor Leiner has served on the Board of Trustees of the ISMRM from 2006 to 2009 and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) from 2016 to 2019. He is the author of over 400 original papers, review articles and book chapters and editor of several electronic radiology textbooks. He is a Past President of the ISMRM and the new Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR) from January 2023.

Professor Christian Loewe is the chairman of the Division of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Department of Bioimaging and Image-Guided Therapy at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. He is the chairperson of the National Society Committee of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and a member of the Executive Council of ESR. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of the European School of Radiology (ESOR) and currently serves as the President of the Austrian Roentgen Society.

He was a member of the Editorial Board of European Radiology (2002 – 2011) and associate editor of Radiology (2011 – 2017), and is currently Deputy Editor of Insights Into Imaging.

His clinical and scientific work mainly focuses on noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic imaging (CT and MR of the heart; CT angiography; MR angiography) and diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases. He gave more than 430 invited lectures, has authored and co-authored more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is the author of five book chapters.

Ioana Gabriela Lupescu is a professor of radiology for the Department of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Interventional Radiology, Fundeni I- Department 8, Faculty of Medicine, UMPh "Carol Davila", Bucharest, and Head of the Department of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Interventional Radiology at the Fundeni Clinical Institute.

After graduating in medicine in 1989 at the UMPh "Carol Davila", Bucharest, professor Lupescu completed her residency in radiology in 1994. She has a cotutelle PhD in Medicine from the UMPh "Carol Davila" and the University Claude Bernard Lyon I. She completed all the hierarchical steps at the UMPh "Carol Davila" to become a professor in 2013.

Professor Lupescu's main areas of imaging and research include liver, biliary tree, pancreatic and gastrointestinal pathology, reno-urinary system and prostate, transplantation imaging, hemato-oncological diseases, and neuroimaging. She is involved in multidisciplinary research on liver hepatocellular and pancreatic carcinoma, liver and kidney transplantation, reno-urinary tract and prostate tumours, and lymphomas.

Professor Lupescu has authored more than 110 articles in medical journals and over 32 book chapters and participated in more than 620 communications, lectures, and posters.

Professor Lupescu is a pioneer in MRI training through her implementation of the MRI school in Romania. For her work, she has been awarded distinctions at radiology SRIM congresses and abroad. She was the SRIM president from 2015 to 2017 and president of the Oncological Imaging Group. She is also a founding member of the Romanian Society of MRI and the Romanian ISMRM.

Doctor Silvia Magnaldi is a radiologist with 40 years of experience. She received her medical degree from the University of Trieste and completed her residency at the Department of Radiology of the University of Trieste. In 1990 she was a fellow of the Neuroradiology Division of Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland, USA).

From 1983 until 1995, her clinical work and research were dedicated to neuroradiology, and she published several papers in this field. From 1996 until 2005, her clinical work was focused on oncologic, pelvic and skeletal radiology. Since 2000 her main interest has been pelvic imaging, and she has been organising courses on this topic since 2014.

From 1986 until 1995, Dr. Magnaldi was a clinical researcher at the Radiology Department of the University of Trieste. She served as an attending radiologist in several hospitals and was Director and Chief Department, with budget (and result) responsibility, of the Radiology Units in Bergamo (1996-1997), Brescia (2011-2017) and Pordenone (2017-2020). From 2009 until 2011, Dr. Magnaldi worked in the Radiology Department of the University of Vienna, where she won the "Teacher of the Year" award in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Since 2020 she has been a freelance radiologist.

Dr. Magnaldi has been a moderator, speaker and organiser in several national and international courses and conferences. She is President of the Contrast Media Section of the Italian Radiological Society (SIRM) in 2023 and 2024. She has a personal website (www.silviamagnaldi.com).

Martina Pecoraro trained in radiology at the Sapienza University of Rome, where she graduated in 2022. She is currently a PhD student in the Network Oncology and Precision Medicine doctoral programme at Sapienza University. Dr. Pecoraro has been trained under the supervision of Professor Valeria Panebianco in GU imaging, which is her main field of research. She is a member of the Research Committee and of the Radiology Trainees Forum (RTF) of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), a representative of the KUB working group of the European Society of Urogenital Oncology (ESUR) Junior Network, and a Junior Assessor of the European Training Assessment Program (ETAP), Scientific Committee of the European Board of Radiology (EBR). Dr. Pecoraro was awarded the EuroMinnies 2023 Radiology Rising Star Award and the best genitourinary research presentation award in 2022. She was funded with several research starting grants by Sapienza University.

Dr. Lionel Pesquer completed his medical studies in Bordeaux and Poitiers, where he graduated in 2005. His practice is focused on musculoskeletal imaging, mainly at the Clinique du Sport of Bordeaux, France. He is head of the Musculoskeletal Imaging Department and Co-head of Enosis Group, which gathers more than 30 radiologists.

He wrote and participated as a co-author in more than 40 indexed international papers and several chapters in sports imaging and interventional radiology. Dr. Pesquer is the first author of a book on wrist imaging published in French in 2013 and another on hip ultrasound in 2022. He participates in many educational projects every year with the Société d’Imagerie Musculo-squeletttique (SIMS) and European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR). Still, he also lectures at multiple musculoskeletal imaging meetings. Since 2022, he has served as Chairperson of the Ultrasound Subcommittee of ESSR, managing the hands-on sessions and lectures for future meetings and other educational tasks.

Dr. Viktoria Pozdniakova completed her medical degree in 2009 at Saint-Petersburg Pavlov Medical University in Russia before moving to the Medical University of Graz to pursue her academic career in radiology. While in Graz, she made guest research visits to the Excellence Center in Vienna and ETH Zurich, focusing on molecular imaging.

In 2012, she moved to Oslo to work on a basic research project on hypoxia imaging with DCE-MRI and DWI at Norwegian Radium Hospital. In 2014, Viktoria switched to clinical practice and after completing her internship, started her training in radiology at Stavanger University Hospital in 2015. She continued her research career in neuroimaging, focusing on volumetric changes in Parkinson's dementia.

Dr. Pozdniakova presented her work at ECR and the Norwegian Radiology Congress, where she was awarded the first prize for the Best Scientific Presentation in 2018. She did an ESOR scholarship in neuroimaging at La Fe Hospital in Valencia, Spain, and has been an invited speaker at neuroimaging forums organised by the industry. Since 2018, she has been a board member of the Norwegian Radiology Society, holding the position of Vice President and President of Young Radiologists of Norway for the last two years. Dr. Pozdniakova serves as a national delegate from Norway at RTF. After completing her residency in 2021, Viktoria works as a radiology consultant in Norway, focusing on neuro- and thoracic imaging.

In her free time, Viktoria participates in several volunteer programmes honoured with breakfast with H.R.H. Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon, in 2018.

Dr. Martin Reim is a consultant radiologist and interventional radiologist at the Tartu University Hospital, Estonia. He has special interests in endovascular and US-guided interventions.

He graduated from the Tartu University Medical Faculty and received a radiology specialist degree at the same institution. The fellowship training has also been carried out in France, Finland and Croatia. He has also received scholarships from the ESOR, NORDTER and RSNA.

Dr. Reim is also the Estonian Society of Radiology president and national delegate of Estonia in the IAEA and UEMS committees. He is the chairperson of the ESR Education Committee Radiology Trainees Forum and has contributed to the organisation of ECR over the past years. He is also a member of other ESR committees and the ESOR steering group.

His research activities have been related to emergency radiology, AI, and oncologic imaging. The latter has led to co-founding a start-up dedicated to creating innovative and AI-powered tools for the good of radiologists.

Dr. Reim is the co-coordinator of the In Focus programme and will give his enthusiastic input to create a programme emphasising the path of trainees and how to develop the essential skills for every radiologist.

Andrea B. Rosskopf is a radiologist at the Medical Radiology Institute (MRI) in Zurich, Switzerland, and an active research associate of the famous Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. She is also a lecturer (Privatdozent, PD) at the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.

Dr. Rosskopf completed her residency in Berne, Switzerland. After a clinical fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK, she continued her career as a clinical fellow, consultant, and senior consultant at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich (for more than eight years), specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology.

Dr. Rosskopf is an active member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS), the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR), including the Subcommittees "Sports" and "Arthritis", the German musculoskeletal societies (DGMSR and AG Muskuloskelettale Radiologie) and founding member of the Swiss Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSSR).

She has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals and books and is a reviewer of "Radiology", "Skeletal Radiology", "European Radiology", and the "RSNA Case Collection".

Dr. Rosskopf is a well-known teacher for MSK courses and conferences across Europe and North America and an expert examiner for MSK radiology at the Swiss Board Examination.

Daniel Pinto dos Santos is a consultant radiologist and assistant professor of radiology at the University Hospital of Cologne and the University Hospital of Frankfurt, with a particular interest in imaging informatics and abdominal imaging.

He graduated in medicine from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, where he also completed his radiology training at the University Medical Center. After a visiting research fellowship at the Hospital Universitari La Fe in Valencia, Spain, he moved to his position at the University Hospital of Cologne. Since 2021, he moved his clinical focus to the University Hospital of Frankfurt while maintaining a lecturing and research position at the University Hospital of Cologne.

Dr. Pinto dos Santos is the past chair of the Information Technology Committee of the German Radiological Society, vice-president of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics, and incoming chair of the eHealth and Informatics Subcommittee of the ESR. He also serves as Deputy Editor for European Radiology and Section Editor (Radiomics) for the European Journal of Radiology.

Dr. James Shambrook is a consultant cardiothoracic radiologist at University Hospital Southampton, UK. He was appointed 2009 after general radiology and subspeciality cardiothoracic training in the Wessex deanery. His clinical work is focused exclusively on cardiac and thoracic imaging, including adult and paediatric cardiac MR and CT, thoracic oncology imaging, lung cancer screening and image guided thoracic procedures.

Dr. Shambrook is the immediate Past President of the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging and the British Society of Cardiovascular CT (BSCI/BSCCT). He is currently a member of the scientific programme committee for the Society of Cardiovascular CT as a chair of the congenital imaging track.

Dr. Shambrook is the current RCR/BSCI travelling professor for cardiac imaging.

Harriet Thoeny is an internationally-recognised urogenital and head and neck radiologist, currently Chairperson of Radiology at the Cantonal Hospitals of Fribourg, and full professor at the University of Fribourg, the only bilingual university of Switzerland. She is also an adjunct professor of urology at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Due to her clinical expertise, she is a consultant at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Bern and a consultant at the Department of Radiology at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), Switzerland.

Professor Thoeny is originally from Liechtenstein, a tiny principality between Switzerland and Austria. She completed her medical studies in Bern and her residency in radiology in various hospitals in Switzerland. During her clinical fellowship in head and neck and urogenital radiology at the University Hospitals of Leuven (Gasthuisberg) in Belgium, she discovered her love for research thanks to excellent interdisciplinary collaborations, including her clinicians and Frederik de Keyzer, a young, intelligent, and inspiring computer scientist. Together they were instrumental in developing the application of diffusion-weighed MRI outside the brain, which is now part of most MRI exams in daily clinical practice.

Professor Thoeny has always loved foreign languages and cultures (she speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian, and some Spanish and Arabic). Her deep interest in human interactions and research have come together naturally, as her international collaborations show.

Professor Thoeny has held several positions at the RSNA, including Associate Editor of Radiology, Chairperson of the Regional Committee for Europe, a member of the International Advisory Committee, a member of the Margulis Award Committee, and a member of the Scientific Subcommittee of Genitourinary radiology.

Professor Thoeny has contributed to the international guidelines development, including the ESUR/ACR PI-RADS steering committee. She is also a member of various scientific committees, including the European Multidisciplinary Urological Cancer (EMUC) meeting, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), the International Cancer Imaging Society (I.C.I.S), and the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR).

Professor Thoeny has held several leadership positions, including President of the ESUR, where she introduced the European Diploma in Urogenital Radiology, and Executive Board Member and Honorary Secretary of the I.C.I.S. She has been chairperson of the scientific subcommittees of urogenital and head and neck radiology at ECR.

She has several peer-reviewed grants totalling several million Euros, mainly in functional MRI of the prostate, kidneys, lymph nodes, and head and neck imaging. She has published multiple original articles in highly-ranked journals, including four invited state-of-the-art articles for Radiology. Her work has been read more than sixteen thousand times and cited more than ten and a half thousand times, making her a key opinion leader in Radiology.

Professor Thoeny is committed to her clinical work, mentoring, and teaching and has given many invited lectures at national and international meetings in various languages, allowing her to share her knowledge and culture simultaneously.

In recognition of her achievements, Professor Thoeny was appointed an honorary member of the Spanish Society of Abdominal Radiology (SEDIA), an honorary fellow of the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology (ASAR), an honorary member of the French Society of Radiology (SFR), and an honorary member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Rozemarijn Vliegenthart (MD, PhD, EBCR, FNASCI, FICIS) is a professor of cardiothoracic imaging and radiologist at the University Medical Center Groningen, The Netherlands. She obtained her MD degree (cum laude) at the University of Groningen in 2005. Vliegenthart holds an MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences (Rotterdam) and a PhD from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on screening and early detection of cardiothoracic diseases, particularly lung cancer, COPD and cardiovascular disease (the Big-3). Vliegenthart has obtained several grants in cardiothoracic imaging as an applicant or co-investigator and is the principal investigator of the ImaLife study (Imaging in the Lifelines cohort), CONCRETE study (CT calcium scoring in GP patients with chest pain), and B3care project (Imaging biobank to validate AI tools for Big-3 imaging biomarkers). Professor Vliegenthart is (co-)author of over 284 papers (h-index 48) and is an Associate Editor of the European Journal of Radiology. She has held invited lectures at numerous international conferences, including ECR, RSNA and WCLC. She is the current Chairman of the cardiovascular section of the Radiological Society of the Netherlands and the current President of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology.

Ana Blanco Barrio, MD, EDER, is a consultant radiologist in the Emergency Radiology Section, Department of Radiology, at the University Hospital Morales Meseguer, Murcia, Spain. She is also a collaborating lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia. She has expertise in all fields of emergency radiology, including non-vascular interventional procedures and musculoskeletal radiology.

After medical school and radiology training in Madrid, she completed a visiting fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology in New York at the Hospital for Joint Diseases before becoming a staff radiologist at her present institution. She has been fully dedicated to emergency radiology since 2013, and in 2019 she obtained the European Diploma in Emergency Radiology (EDER).

Dr. Blanco Barrio is the vice president of the European Society of Emergency Radiology (ESER) and a board member of the Spanish Society of Emergency Radiology (SERAU). She has a special interest in medical education and is a current member of the CORE Committee of the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR). She has served as a member of the ECR emergency imaging scientific subcommittee in 2019, 2021 and 2022. She has lectured both nationally and internationally. She has published peer-reviewed papers and several book chapters on musculoskeletal and emergency topics.

Damiano Caruso, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiology working at Sant Andrea Academic Hospital at the Sapienza University of Rome.
After graduation, he spent his residency working with Professor Andrea Laghi at the Sapienza University of Rome. Dr. Caruso spent one year in the USA working as a research fellow with Professor U. Joseph Schoepf at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
He is the Chairperson of the Young Radiologist Committee and an Executive Committee Board Member of the ESOI, a member of the Educational Committee of the ESGAR, and a recently nominated member of the Scientific Committee of the ESCR. In 2024, he will be the chairperson of 'Oncologic Imaging' Scientific Subcommittee of ECR 2024.

Sergios Gatidis is a radiologist at the University Hospital Tübingen and a Senior Researcher at the Max-Planck Institute of Intelligent Systems in Tübingen. His clinical expertise and research focus lie in multimodal and hybrid oncologic imaging. Dr. Gatidis is the head of the Medical Image and Data Analysis Research Group at the University Hospital in Tübingen, working on developing and applying machine learning methods for medical image analysis.

Willemijn M. Klein is an associate professor in paediatric radiology at the Radboud University Medical Center and Amalia Children's Hospital in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She specialised in congenital anomalies.

After her medical studies in Utrecht, Dr. Klein obtained her PhD in imaging vascular diseases and completed her internship in radiology in Utrecht and Nijmegen, where she has worked ever since. Her expertise is foetal and (paediatric) postmortem imaging, for which she is an active member of ESPR. Lately, she has specialised in (congenital) lymphatic flow disorders and imaging with MR lymphangiography. She chairs the lymphangiography group of VascERN.

Dr. Klein is the chair of the paediatric radiology section of the Dutch Radiology Society, striving for the best paediatric radiology for all children in the Netherlands. She is a member of the programme planning committee for ECR 2023, composing the E³ - Advanced Courses "Radiology of the Afterlife", and she will chair the Paediatric Subcommittee for ECR 2024.

Prof. Dr. med. Karl-Friedrich Kreitner was born on November 20th, 1959, in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. After attending medical school, he entered the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Johannes Gutenberg University in September 1985 as a fellow. In 1986, he successfully finished his doctoral thesis on "Focal Nodular Hyperplasia of the Liver – A Survey". In August 1991, he became a board-certified radiologist, and in 1993 staff radiologist. In 2002, he was appointed associate professor of radiology. Since 2008, he has had a full professorship for radiology at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, University of Medicine, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany.

In 2011, 2013 and 2018, Professor Kreitner had visiting professorships at the universities of Toronto, McMaster, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Zürich, and Vienna, respectively.

His research focused on two subspecialties: MSK radiology with an interest in the polytraumatised patient and joint imaging with MR-arthrography. In cardiovascular and cardiothoracic imaging, his interests were the implementation of new imaging techniques in patients with cardiomyopathies, qualitative and quantitative assessment of myocardial perfusion, CMR in acute myocardial injuries – the MINOCA concept, assessment of flow reserve in coronary bypass grafts, imaging of coronary bypass grafts and stents by MD-CT, assessment of CTEPH by MR and MD-CT imaging techniques, qualitative and quantitative assessment of pulmonary perfusion, assessment of pulmonary hemodynamics, assessment and quantification of tissue perfusion in the diabetic foot syndrome.

Meanwhile, Professor Kreitner overlooks more than 220 publications in peer-reviewed journals, edited two books on cardiac imaging, and held more than 400 talks at national and international congresses.

Dr. Ozgen has obtained her medical degree and completed her radiology residency training at Hacettepe University Medical School, Ankara, Turkey. She trained as a clinical neuroradiology fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She then completed the second year of her neuroradiology fellowship training at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.

She worked as an attending neuroradiologist at the Department of Radiology, Hacettepe University, where she became a professor of radiology in 2018 and then at the Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she became a clinical professor of radiology in 2021.

Professor Ozgen has been continuously involved in the clinical practice of neuroradiology and, more specifically, in head and neck imaging for 20 years. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, review articles and book chapters. She has been a reviewer for several medical journals, including European Radiology, European Journal of Radiology, and Acta Radiologica. She was the head and neck section editor for the European Journal of Radiology from 2018 to 2021.

She has been an invited lecturer in over 40 international and has worked as a lecturer of multiple courses of the ESNR and ESHNR. She has served as an organising committee member for several European Congresses, including the European Head and Neck Society Meeting and European Radiology Meeting. Her primary focus is on head and neck imaging, especially temporal bone, orbital and skull base imaging.

Valeria Panebianco is a professor of radiology at the Sapienza University of Rome, responsible for the advanced imaging magnetic resonance imaging and computerised tomography division. She has focused her research on precise approaches applied to prostate cancer for more than ten years. Dr. Panebianco's research has a special interest in the application of computational medicine for the identification of prostate cancer with MRI and molecular biomarkers and in the definition of decisional algorithms for prostate cancer early detection. In this scenario, she authored about 200 printed papers. Recently, Dr. Panebianco has organised the first Italian screening trial for the early detection of prostate cancer, "Prostate Cancer Secondary Screening in Sapienza" (PROSA) (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04803188).

She has been the leader of position papers on MRI standardisation for bladder cancer (VI-RADS – Vesical Imaging Reporting and Data System) and on MRI standardisation for prostate cancer recurrence (PI-RR – Prostate MRI for local Recurrence Reporting) and has been the co-author of many position papers on prostate cancer management and the application of computational tools to its diagnostic pathway. Dr. Panebianco is part of the panel of experts on EAU Guidelines on Muscle-invasive and Metastatic Bladder Cancer. She is internationally engaged, covering different positions in radiological and urological societies; for example, as an ACR international representative, PI-RADS Committee of ACR, as well as Faculty Member and Promotor of EAU/ESU (European Association of Urology/European School of Urology) MRI Masterclass in Prostate cancer, as ESUR (European Society of Urogenital Radiology) representative for the Education Committee of the ESR (European Society of Radiology), and already Member of AMPC (Annual Meeting Program Committee) of the ISMRM (International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine). She has been appointed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to take part in drafting the WHO blue book on urinary tumours.

Dr. Jonathan Portelli is the Head of the Department of Radiography within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Malta. Besides coordinating the BSc (Hons) Radiography programme, Dr. Portelli teaches various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with primary interests including radiation safety, paediatric imaging, artificial intelligence, benefit-risk communication, person-centred care and research.

Dr. Portelli obtained his PhD in 2019 from the University College Dublin after successfully conducting a mixed-methods research study that explored several radiation protection-related concepts, specifically radiation dose awareness, benefit-risk communication and consent practices amongst health professionals who referred or performed paediatric imaging examinations in Malta.

He is a past president of the Maltese Society of Medical Radiographers. He has contributed to 15 peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. Dr. Portelli has delivered numerous oral presentations at both national and international conferences.

Dr. Portelli has been an Executive Committee Member of the EFRS Research Hub since 2019, aiming to encourage and facilitate radiographers' research activity at international meetings and conferences. In addition, he is a member of the EFRS Patient-Centred Care Working Group, the EAEHP scientific and pedagogical committee and the Radiographers' subcommittee for ECR 2022 and ECR 2023.

Professor Cäcilia Reiner is an abdominal radiologist at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland.

She received her medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. After completing her radiology residency at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland, she spent a year as a research fellow in the body imaging section at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC, USA. After returning to Switzerland, she worked as a staff radiologist at the University Hospital of Zurich and recently has been promoted to Associate Professor by the University of Zurich.
Her clinical and scientific work focuses on abdominal imaging, especially in hepatobiliary, pancreatic and pelvic floor imaging, with a focus on magnetic resonance imaging. She is passionate about education in this field.

Professor Reiner is a Fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and is currently a member of the ESGAR Education Committee and one of the coordinators of the Young ESGAR group.

Cäcilia Reiner was a member of the Gastrointestinal Scientific Subcommittee of the European Congress of Radiology 2019 and 2020 and has served in the Scientific Committee of the Swiss Congress of Radiology since 2016.

She is an editorial board member for the Gastrointestinal Section in the European Journal of Radiology and a reviewer for several international journals. She has authored over 70 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and several book chapters.

Dr. Paolo Sartori was born in Dolo (Venice) in 1960. He got his degree in medicine at Padua University and post-degree specialisation in radiology at Ferrara University, which he finished with distinctions. Dr. Sartori is an adjunct professor at Padua University, Radiographers School.

Dr. Sartori worked from 1990 to 2010 as a radiologist at Rovigo Hospital. From 2010 until 2022, he has been a Chief of Radiology at Venice Hospital, and from 2022 Head of the Department of Clinical Radiology Health Unit 3 of Veneto Region (Venice area).

Dr. Sartori authored more than 30 publications, ten posters and 50 congress presentations. He chaired sessions at more than 40 conferences. His main competencies are oncological radiology, senology, management and health economics.

Dr. Sartori has been a member of SIRM (Società Italiana di Radiologica Medica e Interventistica) since 1990 (National Adviser 2009-2012; President of Management and health economics 2015-2018).

He was president of SNR - Sindacato Nazionale area Radiologica (Italian Radiologist Trade Union) from 2014 until 2022.

He is married to Lorenza and has two daughters, Silvia and Caterina.

Annemiek Snoeckx, MD, PhD, is a professor at the University of Antwerp and Chair of the Radiology Department of the Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium.

Professor Snoeckx's clinical and research interests are in the field of chest imaging, in particular thoracic oncology (in general), lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer screening and implementation of artificial intelligence.

She is an active member of numerous committees within the European Society of Thoracic Imaging, European Society of Radiology, European Respiratory Society and Belgian Society of Radiology. She was the organiser and presenter of the Junior Image Interpretation Quiz at ECR 2017. She served as a member of the Chest Subcommittee of the European Congress of Radiology in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and was part of the programme planning committee for ECR 2023.

Professor Snoeckx is passionate about education on thoracic oncology topics. She authored or co-authored 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at many national and international meetings and courses.

Lucie Sukupova, PhD, is a clinical medical physicist in the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic, the biggest transplant centre in Europe. She is focused mainly on the optimisation of image quality and radiation protection in interventional and fluoroscopically-guided procedures and CT imaging but also in general radiography. She is intensively involved in public tenders. She teaches medical physics in radiology at Czech Technical University in Prague and Masaryk's University in Brno. In addition, she is engaged in the postgraduate education of medical physicists and other health professionals.

Dr. Sukupova is the President of the Czech Association of Medical Physicists and an active member of other working groups on the national and European level.

David Laszlo Tarnoki is an associate professor, radiologist and twin researcher at the Medical Imaging Centre of Semmelweis University, as well as medical economist and health manager and Centre Head of the Oncologic Imaging and Invasive Diagnostic Center of the National Institute of Oncology, Budapest, Hungary. He is a founding member of the Hungarian Twin Registry. He has given more than 500 international and domestic lectures and has more than 170 publications, and is the author or co-author of 34 book chapters. Professor Tarnoki is a board member of the Hungarian Society of Radiologists. He has supervised more than 75 medical students and 7 PhD students. He teaches radiology in English, German and Hungarian at Semmelweis University. Between 2016 and 2019, he was the head of the ultrasound department at the Department of Radiology, Semmelweis University. Between 2017 and 2019, he was the head of English studies at the Department of Radiology Semmelweis University.

Professor Tarnoki has been a Secretary of the Hungarian Chapter of the Hungarian Medical Association of America, a member of the editorial board of the Hungarian Radiology Journal, a member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Diagnostic Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, secretary of the International Society for Twin Studies, visiting associate professor of Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine. He is a member of the Ultrasound section of the Hungarian Society of Radiologists and a member of the board of the interstitial lung diseases (ILD) section of the Hungarian Society of Pulmonologists.

Dr. Georgia Tsoumakidou received her medical degree from the Medical University of Athens in 2003, where she also completed her residency in radiology in 2010. She got a master's degree in 2006 and a doctor of medicine degree in 2012. She completed a two-year fellowship in IR at the University Hospital of Strasbourg, France, where she worked as a consultant IR until 2017 when she joined the group of IR in the University Hospital of Lausanne in Switzerland. Dr. Tsoumakidou is doing both vascular and percutaneous procedures. Her clinical and scientific work primarily focuses on oncology and musculoskeletal locoregional and systemic therapies.

Dr. Tsoumakidou is an active member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society in Europe (CIRSE). She has also served as a member of the Standard of Practice Committee and the Scientific Committee for the annual CIRSE congress 2023.

She serves as a reviewer of several national and international journals. She has authored and co-authored more than 50 articles in peer-review journals, co-authored several book chapters and has given numerous invited lectures at national and international meetings.

Meike Vernooij is a neuroradiologist and professor of population imaging at the Departments of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and Epidemiology at Erasmus MC. Her research focuses on the use of MRI in investigating age-related brain changes, specifically those which may be used as preclinical markers for cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. Her work has been recognised with the European Prize for Neuroradiology (Lucien Appel Prize), the Stroke Innovation Award, and the Lourens Penning Prize of the Dutch Society of Radiology. Professor Vernooij has authored over 370 peer-reviewed publications in the field of (population) neuroimaging and is currently supervising 10 PhD students and three postdocs. She is the Chair of the Written Evaluation Committee of EDiR and the Chair of the Diagnostic Committee of the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR). She, furthermore, regularly teaches in the ECNR course cycle of the ESNR and is an examiner for the EDiNR. Within Erasmus MC, she Chairs the Talent and Innovation Council, aimed at furthering talent development and support for (young) researchers.

Athina Vourtsis graduated from Athens University Medical School in 1993 and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1997. In 1998, she was conferred a Ph.D. from the University of Athens. She received training in breast imaging at Cornell Medical Center, New York and in 2001 received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation in Greece. Dr. Vourtsis is Chair of the Department of Radiology at Athena Medical in Athens.

Dr. Vourtsis is a co-author of more than 46 articles in Greek and international scientific medical journals. She is a member of the international scientific faculty of IBUS. She has presented more than 90 oral presentations in Greek conferences, has delivered 300 lectures as an invited speaker at international radiological meetings, and has over 80 lectures on breast awareness programs. In 2012, she founded the Hellenic Breast Imaging Society (HBIS), in which she was given the honorary position of Founding President.

Dr. Vourtsis has shown particular interest in supplemental screening methods and AI. She has actively supported breast awareness programs throughout her career and was honored by the PanHellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois". As a member of the Medical Advisory Board and European Liaison of DenseBreast-Info.org she has been working on expanding DBI-s Educational Coalition into Europe.

Dr. Vourtsis has been a reviewer for the European Radiology, the European Journal of Radiology and Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. She has co-authored many breast imaging books and contributed to "Breast Cancer Management for Surgeons – A European Multidisciplinary Textbook" published through Springer.com.

Federica Zanca is a forward-looking and passionate medical physicist with more than 20 years of professional experience in healthcare and a strong focus on innovation in medical imaging and digital transformation.

She has a multidisciplinary background built across academia and industry settings, as well as entrepreneurial competencies, which ensure her a broad perspective.

She got access to cross-disciplinary thinking as a professor at the University of Leuven at the Faculty of Medicine. Professor Zanca learned to collaborate with experts on just about any topic. She was leading or involved in the co-development of new knowledge and new procedures for better patient care.

As a chief scientist and later director at GE Healthcare, she learned about product development, marketing, engineering, clinical workflows, and governance. She learned how hard it is to get a decision made, even when you have a brilliant idea, and how difficult it is to get your executive team to buy in.

Later, she founded her own consulting company, leveraging her academic and corporate experiences to perform technology assessments of medical devices.

She is familiar with European funding agencies as she has been an expert evaluator for over 20 years. Professor Zanca has been a member of many scientific and industry boards and committees steering European innovations for many years.

In terms of personal style, she prefers a "big-picture" orientation supported by logic, brings enthusiasm and energy, and uses her persuasiveness and creativity to drive tangible accomplishments. Professor Zanca inspires younger generations. She speaks Italian, French, Dutch and English.
