Get Involved

ECR 2020 presents for exhibitors the perfect opportunity to reach large numbers of end users to update and give them vital advice on how to make the most of the equipment and products on which they depend. Show up, be remembered!

Information on Satellite Symposia, Industry Workshops and further activities will be published soon (upon availability). For questions please browse through our FAQs or contact us (ESR).

Become an Exhibitor

The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) is the leading meeting in Europe for medical imaging attracting more than 30,000 participants, from more than 130 countries, and more than 300 exhibitors.

One of the major attractions at every ECR is the accompanying exhibition, which provides a chance to discover the latest and greatest in medical imaging technology and related services, with companies coming to the Austria Center Vienna from around the globe to show off established and brand new products, as well as those in development.

A special feature of the exhibition is the AIX (Artificial Intelligence Exhibition), an interactive space devoted to artificial intelligence (AI) and its application to medical imaging. Showcasing the innovators developing radiological AI and featuring the popular AIX Theatre, the AIX provides a unique opportunity for companies to situate themselves at the forefront of this rapidly developing field.

Please contact our partner company MAW, they will be happy to assist you regarding space assignment, exhibition layout and more.

Planmed hands on session

Planmed Medical Imaging Excellence

Welcome at ECR and join our workshops to get familiar with the Finnish quality in mammography and orthopedic imaging, a unique combination of high quality imaging performance, user –friendliness and good ergonomics. At Planmed, we aim to develop breast imaging technology that takes patients, radiologists and mammographers, all into account, providing the best possible experience. Our unique and pioneering ultra low dose imaging protocol, based on intelligent 3D algorithms, allows reducing our Weight Bearing CT’s already low effective patient doses up to 80 % without compromising diagnostic image quality.

- Planmed Digital Breast Tomosynthesis in clinical practice

During this 90-minutes interactive hands on workshop you will be able to go through Planmed ClarityTM DBT and S2D cases selected by experienced radiologists. The cases consist of personalized breast screening studies and follow up studies where DBT shows its benefits in to daily clinical practice. You will have a possibility to review cases on Planmed Envision Pro workstation and discuss about the diagnosis with the radiologists.

- Diagnosis of complex foot problems with Planmed Verity® Weight Bearing CT

The clinical need of Weight Bearing CT in foot pathology assessment will be presented during this 90-minutes interactive workshop. You will be able to learn about image acquisition, post-processing and tools for 3D functional analysis of foot problems, go through clinical cases and get familiar with Planmed Verity® as a unique tool for imaging anatomies under natural load.

- Automated detection of bone orientation in Planmed Verity®  CBCT data using Disior analytics

In this session we will offer you insight into a novel technology that enables comparative measurement on individual patient’s foot in rest and weight bearing position. Automated detection of each foot and ankle bone is individually done directly on DICOM data, it is not based on generic modules. You will get familiar how this intelligent analysis tool answers the surgeon’s demands with easy and highly accurate method.

Panel discussion organised by SCREENPOINT MEDICAL

“Thinking outside of the black box - what does the radiological community think about breast AI?”

A panel of European experts within breast radiology will provide their insight into this hot topic question.

ScreenPoint Medical is the leading developer of AI driven image analysis technology which enables the automated reading of mammograms and digital breast tomosynthesis examinations. With proven accuracy matching that of experienced radiologists, ScreenPoint's Transpara™ system is the most advanced commercially available (CE marked for 2D and 3D mammography, FDA cleared for 2D and pending 3D), exploiting Big Data, Deep Learning and the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence to provide an evidence based multi-vendor solution.  ScreenPoint Medical was founded in 2014 by Professor Nico Karssemeijer and Professor Sir Michael Brady, two internationally respected experts in breast imaging, machine learning and computer aided detection.  The company’s Head Office is in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.  Transpara is currently being used in over 10 European countries including France, Germany and the Netherlands.  We focus on helping to improve breast cancer survival rates by detecting cancer earlier so that treatment can be more effective and less invasive.  Not all breast AI is the same, find out more at ECR stand #112, X1, www.screenpoint-medical.com
