The European Federation of CAncer IMages (EUCAIM) has launched an open call for new beneficiaries to join its consortium. This open call is geared towards incorporating new data into the EUCAIM platform and training, benchmarking, and validating AI algorithms for cancer imaging.
By joining the consortium, beneficiaries will help contribute to EUCAIM’s mission to create a pan-European digital infrastructure for cancer-related images and information, driving the development of AI tools for Precision Medicine. New beneficiaries can:
- Contribute cancer image data to build a comprehensive Atlas of Cancer Images, including both common and rare types of cancer.
- Develop, train, benchmark, and validate AI algorithms to enhance cancer management.
- Address specific clinical questions through innovative use cases, such as identifying imaging biomarkers.
With an implementation duration of 18-24 months and a total budget of 3,852,000 EUR, there’s ample opportunity to make a significant impact. The indicative budget for new beneficiaries is 214,000 EUR , with 50% co-funding required.
This call is open to data holders (organisations that supply the data) and data users wishing to develop, train, benchmark and/or validate AI algorithms using the curated data in the Cancer Image Europe platform.
Applications are now open until June 10, 2024.
